Shocking service. Ordered at 5.40pm online for delivery between 7 - 7.30. Tried to tell me at 7.40 their driver had delivered it, then at 7.50 they actually delivered after 2 further calls, problem was food was cold/Luke warm at best. Offered 20% off next delivery, fair to say I won’t be needing that. Don’t bother ordering here, find an alternative!
Extremely poor, the food came cold. Not only did it lacked taste and flavour but the texture was horrific. Then the delivery driver finessed 30p off me like it was gold. They must be down bad
Beautiful little gem, it looks small then opens up to a beautiful restaurant, Service was fantastic, atmosphere was spot on , recommend you book, food was delicious Thank you to adding to a great night out, we will be going back
Ordered for takeaway. Food inedible. Called to complain and got offered 20 percent off for next time. Will not be returning. Hard rice. Curry had a strange taste to it. Chips were soggy as were the chicken balls. All stone cold and ended up in the bin. Don't know what's happened recently here. Last time we were in we had a spring roll still frozen in the middle. Would not recommend. We will be going lea garden from now on.
Four of us visited the Ruby and chose the menu for 4 people. The food was very good as well as the service . We were not rushed and the starters and main meals were served at a steady time and you could tell it was freshly cooked. Dietary restrictions: They can prepare glutin free meals
Great food, great service. Went to the Ruby with a friend last night, and had the all you can eat menu, and everything was delightful, fresh and tasty. Great staff too.
Ordered a chicken curry it was stone cold ! Chicken looked cooked but seemed as if just put in very cold uncooked unheated sauce with uncooked onions ! really not nice food ! Won’t be ordering again it’s not a far delivery so I don’t understand how it can be so undercooked and cold ! One star is being very generous
Not been for a couple of years. Gone down hill. Food shocking service poor. Cleared table before we had finished, no interaction until we complained. Wont be returning!
I'm very sorry to say that, for me, the Ruby has lost its shine. I'm afraid it's never been the same since they ditched the all you can eat menu. That said, the food was good, and the portions generous, but I didn't feel that the drinks were fantastic value for money. The service let it down massively, however. The waiter was abrupt almost to the point of rudeness, and it felt like we were being watched and willed to hurry up didn't help that things were cleared from the table immediately after finishing them - even though we were still eating the meal!. I'm not sure I'd want to make a return visit in the near future.
Always good food and service. Staff are bang on. Building has charachter but could do with a little sprucing up. Will definatley be going back.Food: 4/5
