Amazing place,we love to visit the area as often as possible. We live in the Lake District in Cumbria just south of the border with Scotland so it's a 4-5 hour drive in our old motorhome. We've never been & not seen amazing wildlife whilst visiting Ruby Bay especially the dolphins,on every single visit we've seen them twice daily,like clockwork they are,very popular with tourists & locals alike but I can understand why,it's a fantastic place.
Lovely beaches in level Fife, places to camp has good toilet facilities , and plenty of parking if out and about, worth a wee visit
Great for those who love coastal walking, a good chunk of this section of the Fife Coastal path is on the beach. Erosion has made part of the path unsafe / inadvisable, though sadly plenty folk seem to ignore the warning, which will just make things worse. The beach was clean and offered a variety of terrain and there are interesting features to spot along the way. On joining the path it is in good condition and relatively easy going, though care is required in dome sections, especially if it has been wet. Some sections have steps and these also require caution though also well maintained.nThe carpark allows for 2 hours parking for free or all day parking for £2. Tap to pay accepted.

Ruby Bay is nothing short of stunning. Golden sands, crystal clear water, and stunning views of the Forth. The parking and toilets are great for camping. Probably one of the best beaches on the East Coast. Seen some seals and dolphins
