Awful rescue! Put perfectly healthy animals down because they test positive for FIV... A cat can live a perfectly normal life in the right environment if given the opportunity which these don't allow! They just snatch the life away! Even when other rescues reach out and offer a place for the FIV positive cat who are highly qualified in ensuring they go to the right homes and get all the best care, RSPCA Birmingham still choose death! Absolutely makes me sick to my stomach! Don't give your charity to these murdering theives! Your money is far better off in the pocket of non profit, volunteer run and no kill policy charities who actually care about the animals and not how much money they have in the bank!
Love dogs. Love this place. Went to the Fete today. Lots of brilliant people braving the weather supporting the worthy charity. Keep up the great work.
RSPCA you should have your rights of charity taken away and the the rescue bit. You don't know the meaning of the word rescue. You have death on your hands just the like the west midlands police. Your advert should be taken down off TV because if you acted the way you do in the advert you would be stepping in and rescuing the cats and kittens from the house in Birmingham. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. You don't even deserve 1 star.
Me and the wife recently adopted a beautiful dog here recently. The staff were amazing offerd endless help and support even now weeks after the adoption. We were always greeted with a smile and welcoming arms.. really can't praise this place any more there doing great things for animals in need
The centre was fantastic in the adoption of our cat Skippy. They made everything easy and simple and all the literature they gave us was informative and helpful. Skippy is now enjoying having a big house to run around, though I think she is looking forward to going outside to chase the birds!
All the staff dealing with "Spotty" now Poppy were very caring as she was a nervous and frightened Border Collie. It is close coming up to two years now, with a few months dog training after I got her she became a different dog. She is fascinated with all types of animals on tv or in close proximity. She has her own quirks and is comical on occasions. Thank you for letting me adopt her and give her a new life my forever dog.
Very reassuring about helping your loved animals. They need more community support and donations
Great staff. They love and really care for the animals they look after. We adopted these beautiful cats a few days ago. Willow and jasper!
We are trying adopt a kitten/cat and I’ve given caring and loving homes to cats for nearly 50 years. So while living in the same house in which we adopted a cat last time from the RSPCA, Frankley there’s now a problem they’ve created which affects most people. The house hasn’t moved but for some reason their new rules now mean we are excluded from adopting kittens or cats we are interested in because there happens to be a main road in the vicinity. I’ve never had a cat stupid enough to go anywhere near this road. My first cat lived here for 15 years and was very happy. There’s now no flexibility like the owners having a brain and dealing with any risks locally. A catio is the only compromise which makes your back garden/patio look horrific and will devalue your house. Catios are of no benefits to cats because they can’t fly surprisingly in these huge cages and they have no interaction with lawns/flowers/nature. I’ve now decided to cancel my monthly donation to the RSPCA and advise all like minded friends accordingly. It’s not just about rescue, it’s also about rehoming to the right people.
All i can say is what an outstanding service and care staff and the vet was outstanding with there compassion and care . For our cat after a bad visit to a private vet who didnt care and charged £213 pound to dont nothing to help .
