Two words - mid crabs! Once you adjust your eye, you realise that in the flats, all the things you think are stones are in fact crabs. We had a lovely relaxed walk . And the cabin has a coffee machine and super friendly staff
Fabulous spot with great views and trails around the harbour. Great for a walk in scenery but also if you're a keen bird spotter. I found the north wall area to be full of a variety of birds. Beautiful place.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Had a wonderful circular walk here recently. Love the closeness to the sea. All the water and old trees. Lots of birds to see and plenty of landscape/seascape views to take in. Trail was very muddy in places so recommend proper walking/hiking shoes. Walked an already routed trail walk which took me through and along the reserve, passed an old church and along the beach then circling back in to the reserve again. Highly recommended. Be aware though, can get very windy. They have a small car park by the visitor centre and an overflow car park as well which closes at 4pm. Toilets are available by the visitors centre and some refreshments also available.

Great nature park for kids and adults. Really well set up kids discovery area, seen frogs, snakes, birds of prey and wading birds. Easy parking and cheap. Staff very helpful and informative if something unusual is on site.
Had a very good trip to RSPB Pagham last week, albeit gloomy weather. Good visitor centre and coffee or tea available. Car parking for visitors and a hide. Lovely walk down to Church Norton..Visited onWeekday

If you enjoy walking along country footpaths amongst some of this country's most beautiful seaside and wetlands you will love Pagham Harbour. See a multitude of wild birds and wildlife and be sure to check out the many RSPB leaflets, interpretation displays and online guides. There are designated RSPB car parks, but be prepared to walk. Wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a bottle or two of water in hot weather.
It's good that this place exists but the experience was a bit underwhelming. The trails are not great. Felt more like a place where people come to walk their dogs. In fact that's all we saw and workmen! It was low tide and very noisy from 6 or 7 men cutting hedges we thought there was a go kart track nearby! - nothing anyone can do about that but clearly not a good day/ time to visit.
lovely placefor an Early spring walk. saw plenty of waders, ducks, and geese as well as plenty of little birds on the feeders. One thing that could be better is more seats on the path to harbour my OH has very poor mobility or guides should direct to hide through the discovery area. Restrooms: Clean & functional with decent loo roll - what more can I say
