Some beautiful scenery with views of the South devon Coast. In a handy little parking local, that's just right if you wanna stop and enjoy the views. Or start off on a walk/hike. Not far from shaldon with a trail leading down to the village with some beautiful views across the water.
Loved this stop. £1 for an hour or £1.70 all-day. You can pick up the SW Coastal Path here.
Beautiful views and when the coffee van around brilliant coffee.nAnd don't forget to buy the parking fees. At the entrance next to the last bins.
Lovely walk round nice for small walk or if want to do harder walk can go down to the costal path. Really enjoyed it. Lovely views x
Specifically went here to hopefully spot a Cirl Bunting but alas nowhere to be seen. It was the first week in September and very warm weather. So maybe they had dispersed after the breeding season. Only saw a couple of robins,dunnocks, magpies and a kestrel. Went a walk into Shaldon after and saw a RavenAlso got a photo of this moth which I believe is a Common Carpet moth. Will come back again....maybe May/June time.
