Even better than it was when I used to ride these trains as a kid. There are now two tracks with many trains running, working signals and a turntable... all for free. Great experience and all thanks to dedicated volunteers.
Best walk in the nature, railway for kids in the woods
Excellent quality rides for Kids And Adults. Dedicated team of enthusiasts. Well worth a visit. Just beware of Council parking fees payable by debit cards at the machine. Should be free in all Parks at all times.
I always remember going here as a child myself and now that I have my own kids. It's great to show them how much joy it brought me as a child. To still see it has the same magical effect with me as it does with them. The staff are second to none, friendly, informative, hard working. It's the staff who make the experience.
Lovely day, lovely staff, Christmas tradition
The memories of this place still endure from my childhood so it was a delight to take my children there this year. Run by enthusiasts, seemingly just for the love of it, this was a day out that brought smiles to our faces.
Love this place love the steam trains
Lovely place, trains run 1-4pm on a sunday by a dedicated bunch of enthusiasts, weather permitting. Children loved seeing and riding on the miniature trains
Great place for everyone. Little train, woods, views and the Barking Mad café!! Plus the wonderful craft fair in the stable was on this weekend
Great fun, especially for the kids. Be prepared to queue for 30mins+ during busy periods but you can't complain when it's a free activity
