I recently visited the Phoenix Cinema & Art Centre to see an exhibition about Sikhism and its amazing history. The exhibition was very good, providing insightful and engaging content. The staff were also commendable, offering friendly and helpful service throughout my visit. The place has had a makeover, and it shows. The updated decor adds a fresh and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, there's a decent sized cafe that serves nice food and drinks, making it a great spot to relax before or after an exhibition. Overall, the Phoenix Cinema & Art Centre is a wonderful place to experience both art and history, complemented by a pleasant café experience.
I celebrated my birthday with my family in the Nest with a very tasty bottomless brunch. I'll add photos. The service was brilliant and Mukesh was incredibly efficient and polite. The drinks came to us swiftly and when we weren't sure which drinks to have, he became very creative and delivered a delicious beverage. The food looked great and tasted better. Thanks for a great time.
Went to see One Love and I was amazed at how the place now looks since the expansion. It’s very fresh and modern. Cinema seating was comfortable. Their was a DJ in the cafe bar afterwards which was a nice finishing touch to the night. Definitely returning soon when their rooftop bar opens 8 March.
We come here regularly - both for food and movies. Food is really good, fairly priced one the cheaper side! and portions generous. Specials are fantastic and as a vegetarian I always find something nice to eat. I am a fan of quirky movies and this is my go to! Apart from mainstream movies they screen all award wining ones and the odd ones which I love! The cinema experience is great - I never had to worry about someone having conversations or being on the phone. Staff are very nice and always happy to help. This place is a gem on Leicester map and I can’t recommend it enough!

Phoenix Brunch - it’s brilliant. We have been 2 weekends on the trot ! The Nest is beautiful, the food and drinks are spot on. Service is fantastic both Ross & Mukesh great hosts. Thank you. You must try it.
My favorite cinema in Leicester! It feels so good to have an independent cinema in a city like Leicester with so many films to see. The cafe/restaurant is also really good to go to when you just saw a great movie. ++ the staff is really cool!!
Forget mainstream chains, this is Leicester's cinematic gem. The prices are low, and the films are curated expertly. They host fantastic events beyond just movies, and the staff make you feel genuinely welcome. It's clear they have a real passion for what they do, and it creates a truly special atmosphere.
This place is hands down the best venue I’ve ever been to. The food served at the restaurant is amazing and you can tell the staff really care about the customers. The cocktail bar upstairs has warm lighting, comfortable seating and the drinks are a 10/10. A special shout out to Mukesh who’s brilliant. My wife asked for a mocktail, but was unsure of what she wanted, so he asked for what flavours she liked and made a custom drink based off of her preferences. Overall; great food, great staff, great drinks, and an amazing relaxed atmosphere. Check out the cocktail bar upstairs if you get the chance.
Beautiful cinema,but popcorn is way too expensive and not affordable to average person. Discounts for students and disabled people are much appreciated. Also appreciate the reruns of older films.
