I came here as spur of the moment and I was not disappointed. Food is very fairly priced and large portions. I had small cod and chips and the cod was the length of the plate! Lovely staff and I really enjoyed the atmosphere there. Thank you! :
Lovely Sunday Dinner. Staff Friendly and service was excellent
They open at 12 noon, fantastic place to have a meal been there today on the Tuesday they have special offers my wife and myself had a Tuesday mix grill what a meal lovely and freshly cooked 5star plus for the meal staff very friendly plenty of parking outside disable friendly for wheelchair and scooters but it's a popular place I can see why now highly recommend and I think they do Sunday lunch but phone first
Very good food friendly staff reasonable priced go there often
Brilliant. Hidden little gem. I came down to the area for a visit for family and discovered this little gem. The food was awesome. We came practically every day. Lunch time is less busy but if you want to go for dinner reserve a table in advance. As it's so packed. Steak will keep me coming back no doubt about it.
Really good value for money and the food is very good, I had liver and bacon and my partner had the home made pie staff were amazing and I ended up staying a lot longer than I was supposed to stay, definitely be going back
Very poor. Sunday lunch swimming in gravy to hide the fact the meat is probably deli meat. Couldn’t even find mine- veggies absolutely destroyed as well. Scores on the door 3 and flies in the dining room too- in October. It was so busy in there that we had high expectations but definitely disappointing. The only things that’s great about the place was the serving staff who were hard working and very welcoming. The only highlight of our visit.
Booked Sunday lunch whilst here for The Elvis Weekend one of the nicest Sunday Roasts I have ever had. We will be definitely booking again, lovely staff friendly atmosphere.
Nice pub. Food is very pub grub, you get what you pay for. Decent meal, good selection of drinks. Staff fairly friendly. Seems more of a locals pub.
Absolutely brilliant the food, the service but best bit is the value you can't get better value for money. See photo £5.95 7oz rump steak with all those trimmings don't know how they make any money. Its a must go to place if in or around Porthcawl
