Ref FL357772098GB. I was expecting my parcel to be delivered today. I am in the house expecting my bell or door knock. Instead, I received an email to say you have tried to deliver, but no one at home. Really, Royal mail , how could you dare lie like that? Do you have a picture to show you were at my door? That is uncalled for. Now you have to try tomorrow. What confidence do I have you will not do the same tomorrow? My advice. We are living in the days of computing and benchmarking. Could you not learn from other delivered companies? With today's technology, it costs you more to store my parcel for another day than if you had called me like other delivery companies to find out where I was. Other companies call you if they think you are in and if that had been your case, your driver would not have had to write the card, use your petrol to take the parcel back, use the space that would have been for another parcel to store my parcel for who knows how long. Do you not see these expenses in comparison to just ringing me for 2 seconds. I must commend you for your email updates of delivery date, but Royal mail, please try to move on with times. Every wasted time costs others as well as I had to stay at home and my emotions are affected. Sometimes, you may think you are cutting costs, but you could save your company more by keeping in line with other delivery companies. A simple mobile phone costs £50. If you buy in bulk, it might even be cheaper, and you may not use it most times. Think about this. Just my suggestion to you.
Parking occupied by the Post Office vans and STAFF!!nI was the only customer in, but no parking space was available.nVisitors parking spaces: red vansnDisabled parking spaces: Red vansnNO ROYAL MAIL VEHICLES signaled parking spaces: red vans.nDisabled person in crutches had to park on double yellow at the roundabout and walk the whole parking lot when I left the place. Shame!!!nThis is a management issue without any doubt.nWhoever is the manager there should resign or be laid off.
Opening hours are a joke. If you go to work yourself the parcel will be almost impossible to retrieve. If you do manage to get there in time there will be no-where to park as all customer parking taken up by their vans. Finally, I have a 4'ft high parcel delivery box and yet STILL their postman insist on leaving items on my doorstep ! they are literally staring at a 4' high box with a huge yellow sticker on it saying PARCEL DELIVERY and to leave parcels in the locked box .... I have yet to ascertain if they are stupid, lazy, or cant read
I have been on hold for twenty-five minutes and then the phone was put down on me.nI rang Uxbridge sorting office because I am waiting for my package from Moonpig to arrive, I live in Uxbridge UB8 area. In the tracking section they said delivery in the morning and it never arrived, now saying it will be delivered between 7am and 7pm. I just tracked my package and I received a message to say my address was non accessible, HOW CAN A RESIDENTIAL BLOCK NOT BE ACCESSIBLE. Chris your staff don't care about delivering to disabled people.nI am still waiting for my order, please Chris can they bring it today as I'm home all day HY88904******..
Great Experience had today at Royal Mail Depot in Uxbridge UB8; I spoke with a very helpful person named, Chris. Very professional. I explained we mistakenly added a package in the Royal Mail bag and the package didn’t have a label on it because the package wasn’t supposed to be there. Chris was kind to help and advised accordingly. Chris also mentioned he would enquire with the team to see if they knew anything about the package and get back to me with an update. Chris explained that it’s unlikely that the package would be found due to enormous amount of packages they handle on a daily basis. Honestly, I didn’t expect they would even speak with me as this was our fault sending the package with no label on it. Thank you so much for your great customer service.
