Long Service Waiting times I cannot understand why only two members of staff are serving at 4.30 pm and it took 30 minutes to serve 9 people. By the time I left the queue was out the door and people had walked out as they couldn’t wait. The self service is still not available and in general there is no sense of urgency or customer service. It is very slow and it is not even Christmas post yet!
What a TERRIBLE PLACE. There are 4 places to serve customers but only one is open, so there are always very long queues all the time. The self-service tills have been down for 3 years. Avoid them.
you earn 40k a year, stop acting like children with your strikes and deliver my bloody packages! yeah times are tough for everyone, why do you lot think you're immune for hardship? grow up
An absolutely wonderful post office. My mum went to deliver a parcel for me to Turkey and Julia was very helpful and friendly. She helped package it up so that it was the cheapest, saving me over £30, just by removing some packaging. Turns out my mum has been going to this post office a lot and loves it! She always finds them friendly, efficient and speedy in their deliveries. In fact far quicker than the post office in her hometown. A big thank you to Julia and the post office, I would thoroughly recommend them!
Not completely sure about employees but let me tell you a story that really annoyed me. On the 23rd I purchased something on eBay. The seller then posted my7 item on the 2th and it was due to arrive on the 29th. Because the seller posted it late, the due date was changed to 2nd-5th. It was the second and I was hoping I would receive the package It was a Saturday after 9 days of waiting. I got back home from Portsmouth and there was a note saying that the package was at the post office. I was going to go there to get it but because the package was really important. I then realised that is was Saturday and the post office closed a few hours ago. I now have to wait an extra 3 days because it opens on Monday. Not happy, they could have left it outside my appartment.
Normally have a lovely younger blonde lady serve me who is so helpful and friendly but yesterday there were two very rude and condescending memeber of staff. I tried to use the services the same way I have for months and was told I was wrong and that I should know. Because she hasn't seen me before I have to be lying that this is what I've done previously at the post office. Apparently she has been there for 40yrs so I should always see her and no one else She kept turning to her collegue rolling her eyes, smirking and laughing at me. I left feeling so angry and bullied by her.
Some of the rudest and most unhelpful employees I have ever come across in store. Incredibly patronising and unprofessional. Opening times are incorrect online also. Some post offices are really friendly and helpful but not this one, avoid if possible
Went in yesterday and the customer service from this older Lady with blonde ish hair, at cashier number 1without being rude big built Was a vile member of staff, her attitude was nasty she spoke to me like a piece of filth!! Needs to be put on a course on customer service or shouldn’t be working with customers full stop! Raising voice towards myself and just in general was aggressive in tone
Do you like being publicly humiliated and condescended to by a self-righteous and miserable old lady? If so, then this will be a treat for you!
There is a blond lady that works in this post office that is in need of customer service training. It is never acceptable to be even the slightest bit rude to your customer, or roll your eyes when asked a question. In the end I went with another courier.
