Came here to celebrate a special night. Loved that they do not service pork or alcohol. I just wished they advertised halal on the window or signage instead of us asking and they showed us a small print out on the wall. I know definitely in this neighborhood people that only eat halal and know what halal meat is will be very supportive. I will be spreading the word and send people here. Amazing food. My son loved the jerk chicken. And the doubles my daughter ate all 3 her self. The ox tail was delicious as well. Do check this palace out. Owner is amazing it’s a family owned business.
The person who took our order was very pleasant and personable. The restaurant is clean and straightforward. The food overall was very good we ordered chicken roti, pholouries, and doubles. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chicken roti. It's an excellent portion, nice chunks of chicken breast. Good ratio of potatoes to meat. I like the thick consistency of the filling. In other places I have had in the past, the mixture was too runny, and that's not how roti is supposed to be. This roti is chefs kiss. I have eaten pholouries for over 25 years, and these were very tasty. They make a great takeaway snack if you're looking for something quick, and they are also good driving food. I recommend Ravi's Hot & Spicy. The pricing is a little high, so unfortunately for us, this will only be reserved as an occasional treat.
Absolutely love Ravi's traditional and authentic West Indian Cuisine! It r minds me of the Trinidadian doubles I grew up on and my mom was born and raised there as well! The atmosphere is very relaxed and clean and comfortable and there is a great variety of not only amazing food but also carribbean snacks and drinks as well! So happy to have them in this area now and I will be back here often to get my doubles and pholourie fix!! That Scotch Bonnet and Tamarind sauce is so delicious!!! Respect Much Love Vegetarian options: The original doubles are also vegetarian friendly since they are naturally made with chickpeas
The Food was absolutely amazing. I don't usually eat super spicy food and it was the perfect amount of spice!! You could tell the owner puts love into the restaurant by the quality of the food. They had a daily special and the serving portions were plenty! Sid was a great server and host. Made us feel like we were right at home. Very professional and clean invironment. 5 stars!! Will definitely have to visit again when passing through town!!

I order jerk chicken lunch special. It was good. Don’t be deceived by the box as it was enough for me. If you like get the large jerk chicken and for sure you will have leftovers.Food: 5/5

My wife and I just tried this place and I’m not sure what all the hype is about. I’m used to island food in the east end of Toronto. The rice and peas tasted off. The doubles had a fish taste to them and I am assuming it may be because they fried the dough in the same oil as their fish and chips. Doubles were fishy and bland. I never comment on establishments but I was so let down and threw most of the food out. What a waste. Also some guy was at the front counter on his phone. Did not acknowledge me. I had to call to the back kitchen and it was someone who is ESL and had no clue what I was saying. Finally guy at front yells something and some nice man came out and took my order. There was a very different tone when a different group came in. Guy at counter was super nice. I’m a white, they were not…just saying.
10/10 food, and at an amazing price too! The owners were super friendly and welcoming... I'll definitely be back again! Food: 5/5
Happened by this place. Decided to stop. Pleasantly surprised. Ravi greeted us and walked us through the menu. We ordered the special fried chicken and fried rice. Fried rice was unique, like nothing we have had before. Was delicious. Oxtail double was very good. Asked for it spicey. The goat roti was also really good. My only complaint was the way it was wrapped. At least half was just roti, none of the filling or gravy. Flavour and taste of everything was delicious. Had a great conversation with Ravi. Maybe some trini music would add to the ambiance. All in all, great experience. Looking forward to our next visit.
