Had never heard of this museum until I did a Google search.nAmazing building that houses the museum and really nicely kept.nLots to read and look at with a lot of history about the regiment and all it's campaigns.nThe museum is laid out well with easy access and good signage.nThere is a small cafe with a good choice of food and drinks and a gift shop with a selection of gifts.nWell worth a visit but probably not for younger children as there is alot of reading to do.
Fabulous museum. Much larger than expected with exhibition spanning from 18th century to our times.nThe vehicles outdoors are monstrous and each tells its own story.nIf you want to grab something to eat, the cafe is basic and offers some cakes but nothing more.nIf you love military history, treat yourself with a day out in Gillingham and Chatham. There is so much to see there.
Omgoodness! Amazing. My hubby is a veteran RE and we took a trip while en route to visit family. If your a veteran and was a Sapper or just into military history, it's worth a trip..cafe upstairs. If your a RE Veteran it's free to get in!
Amazing museum. The displays were very well put together and were fascinating. Plenty of information to read - could have easily spent many hours here. Highly recommend.
Great place to take the family and see what the Sappers have done over the years. The tickets are valid for multiple entries over a year, so no need to rush as you can visit again. REA members are free.
