The architecture of the Royal Crescent is absolutely stunning—truly a sight to behold. Although I didn’t visit the museum, I thoroughly enjoyed the gardens surrounding the Crescent, which showcased beautiful autumn colors. The area wasn’t overly crowded, allowing for a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Overall, it was a lovely visit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone exploring Bath.
Although this is a famous landmark in Bath, familiar to many from both television and photographs, it is still stunning to see this amazing example of Georgian architecture for real. Its setting is extraordinary and the view across Bath itself is unique.nnBy keeping the park Facilities concealed by natural growth, the setting has been maintained whereas it could so easily have been destroyed.nnWell worth the visit!
A superb example of the elegant Georgian architecture that Bath is famous for. The crescent overlooks a large open green space, affording it good views. Well worth the walk from the city centre.
The Royal Crescent in Bath, UK, is a stunning example of Georgian architecture and one of the city's most iconic landmarks. Built between 1767 and 1775, this sweeping crescent of 30 terraced houses offers a majestic view of the city and the surrounding landscape. The symmetry and grandeur of the building, with its honey-colored Bath stone, reflect the elegance of the period. It also houses the Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, which allows visitors to experience luxury amid historical surroundings.
Amazing, simply amazing. The space is so huge it is difficult to comprehend how large the space is compared to the people scattered about on the lawn before it. My oldest daughter suggested we see it, and it didn't disappoint. It was about a 20 minute walk up from the bridge, fairly wheelchair friendly, and of course there's the view.
