Booked my engagement party here last month, i cannot fault it at all! staff were great in making sure everything was set up and ready, helped me arrange a DJ. Then on the night of the party, the staff behind the bar were lovely, cant quite remember their names due to the amount of drinks i had but i do remember they were lovely and friendly. The room is a fantastic size i recommend it to anyone planning a party its worth every penny! Thank you to all the staff a at the Royal British Legion!
I would recommend this venue as a great place to hire. We used it for an after show party for around 60 people. The staff so friendly and accommodating they will do anything they can to help and make you have a great time. A bar is available at very reasonable prices. Chloe who was our contact was equally as helpful and accommodating.
We used to go to this club 2 and 3 times a week, and it was so lovely. However recently been and it was a shock. It smelt dreadful, like musty, mouldy. Just so sad, needs to be re painted, that's walls and woodwork, Carpets shampooed, floors washed, Looking tired. I can't get over the smell. But I would like to say how lovely the staff were. So kind, cheerful. Just lovely. Thank you to them. No wonder the ace is only open a couple of nights a week. The entrance hall looks like an old dear of 90's old fashion living room and smells like it too. What a real shame. I hope things change for the better. Very sad
We love going to the Club for drinks and a game of snooker. The Lounge area is a lovely place to sit and unwind and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a large function room which has bands and other activities on certain days and dates, it is also available for hire just check with the management for details. I would certainly recommend the Club to new members and visitors. Graham
My experience of the royal British legion has always been a good one, staff and customers are always friendly. There is a snooker room for those interested, a few classes are available including a dance class, some shows are put on with tribute bands and live music. Also on Sunday afternoon they have an open mic.
The British Legion Sutton Coldfield Club branch has pretty much everything one would want from a club. It’s got a good selection of drinks/beers and bar snacks, Saturday sports tv events and of course friendly helpful bar staff. There’s a snooker room with two tables and a function room where the club has regular disco type evenings also photography and dancing classes. So all in all it’s a friendly, sociable, club that’s worth giving a try.
Had a great party on 24/02/24. Good venue, bar, staff. All guests had a fantastic time. Would definitely use again 100% recommendation
We recently booked the function room for a family party/daughters 18th party. The room itself is a great size and can easily accommodate upwards of 100 guests. There is a dance floor and stage for a DJ to set up on and a bar that is exclusively for your use, drinks both alcoholic and soft are very well priced making the night very inexpensive for our guests. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us both set up and cleared away. All in all we could not recommend this venue highly enough, the whole experience from the initial booking to the party itself to clearing away the day after the was excellent and for £100 we considered it really good value as well. Highly highly recommended.
Such a good venue, with such a good price! I booked the room out for my 25th birthday and with the help of the staff it turned out amazing. Would like to say a big thank you to Chloe, who was such a big help and gave my family a hand when setting up the venue before the party! They all said how lovely she was! Will definitely keep this place is mind for future events
