You close all the banks and then you stop opening on a Saturday. Close the branch at 4:30 during the week. The only time I can go to the bank is on a day off and when I finally make it to the bank there is a massive queue because there are 1-2 members of staff. At the desks. I'll be looking for another high street bank
I have been locked out of my account now for several days. Bank has been contacted but staff although pleasant have not been able to resolve. All I wanted to do was change my phone number but system does not allow you to edit details easily despite putting in your security measures. I've had all the activation codes etc but am still locked out. Today I'm so frustrated I'm seriously thinking of changing banks. There systems appear to be so complicated and untrustworthy of the customers trying to do their routine banking. Not a happy person with their service or lack of it this morning.
Always slow in que and if your using the machine to cash change get there early
Large solo branch in Kirkcaldy Fife but only two staffed cash desks, broken pay in machines, small awkward car park and huge queues because of having just 2 cash desks. However, the staff are great when you eventually get hold of one of them. Overall, very poor for a so called "high street bank" that isn't even on the high Street any more.
Went into RBS Kirkcaldy, the very pleasant young girl at the door dishing out the hand sanitizer was very pleasant. I explained my situation to her and she pointed me out to the que to wait for a free member of staff to deal with me. At 11:00 hours approximately I was called forward by the young lass at the second desk to whom I explained my situation and presented a piece of paper with details of my transaction. She then went on to a long speech about how this can be done “online” so I picked up my piece of paper and left the bank. I am 74 years old and I have been with RBS since 1974/75. I’m just a wee bit rusty when it comes to computers/iPhones and I thought it would be nice to go along and see if the nice helpful staff can assist me with my transaction. Bitterly disappointed with that wee lass’s attitude so I will now sit at home and see if I can work out how to send more than my daily limit. Maybe it’s time to change my bank. Checked the banks website on Sat to check it was open, it was. so popped up to close my father's account only to get there and the whole place is being painted... hate having to walk from one end of the town to another for nothing only to do it again the following mon
Standards of Customer service are shocking, with customers queing to the inner doors and know one manning the enquires desk. Only 3 girls on the main desks and one gentleman appearing from time to time. I have used this bank for many a year and was proud of the ground floor staff, and their customer service. This needs to be taken on board by higher management and rectified pronto. It would be sad for business people like myself to up sticks and move, due to such pathetic standards
I have been a rbs customer for 40 + years and I'm sick of the poor customer service. Rbs used to be very good. I have already closed my bus account and moving the rest of my business to a bank that I can trust. Load of crooks.and I have to agree this branch is terrible ques outside the door. With very little staff working. Having said that glenrothes is no better with the same ques and harrassed tellers. We should vote with our feet and leave this terrible establishment.
Worst bank I've ever dealt with. The left arm doesn't know what the right arm is doing. As a business customer their service has been nothing short of abysmal.
Most staff are excellent whilst a few are above themselves. I personally would not bank here as always ques, slow to get served and not a great deal of parking spaces.
