Best concert venue I've been to and probably will go to. I enjoyed every aspect of the hall. The Verdi Restaurant offers superb Italian Food. I recommend going there before a show. Finding your way around is easy. I can't imagine there is a bad seat in the house. The Hall sounds amazing, never heard a concert like that before.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
We attended for the first night of David Gilmour’s luck and strange tour and had a great time. The Royal Albert hall looks great from the outside, especially after dark lit up from the side. Inside was gorgeous with lovely purple carpets and wooden doors with dark red interiors in the main hall. Our seats were very good in the rousing circle and still had an amazing view despite being very far back. Sound and acoustics were incredible. Could hear every note crystal clear like he was playing in front of us. Some of the best sound we’ve heard at a concert. Not too loud either, just right.
Visited recently to see my favourite artist David Gilmour in my favourite venue. I also visited 8 years ago when David played the teenage Cancer trust. It is simply a stunning venue with fabulous acoustics and I don't think there is a poor seat in there. Both times we were in Section J and the view is fantastic as it's quite elevated. Staff are polite and helpful and it is situated in the lovely area of West Kensington. You'll be hard pushed to find a more beautiful venue in the UK and the world. David was his usual amazing self, simply perfection. I hope he tours again there.
Royal Albert Hall is an iconic venue with breathtaking architecture and an incredible atmosphere. The moment you step inside, you feel the history and grandeur of the place. It’s not just about the stunning performances, but also the beauty of the building itself. Whether you’re attending a concert, ballet, or any event, the acoustics and setting make every experience memorable. A must-visit for anyone in London, even if just to take in its majestic charm!
Such a great venue for watching a concert. Would be 5 stars except for the quantity of toilets. At intermission you'll often spend the entire intermission in a toilet queue with no time to stand in another queue for food and snacks. Was a bit frustrating to be honest.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
Went here last week to see Top Gun Maverick with the royal philharmonic orchestra. It's an absolutely amazing venue that I have never been to before. As soon as you go in it just takes your breath away with all the splendour and history of the place, as you look around it just gets better & better. Then watching the film with the orchestra below playing the music makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.Totally brilliant . Oh did I say that Tom Cruise turned up aswell..what a great night.
Beautiful venue, where the sound of instruments resonate through out. I attended for a Final Fantasy 7 remake Orchestra performance and was blown away but it all. Highly recommend the event and the venue :- 5*Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
The most spectacular of venues. The acoustics are great. There is not a bad seat in the house. You can pay top dollar for a box or cheap and cheerful for sting in the circle. I do the Czech symphony orchestra as part of the proms and it was stupendous. Just a wonderful treat.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Royal Robert Hall is a truly majestic venue. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a world of elegance and sophistication. The architecture is breathtaking, with intricate details and a sense of history that adds to the grandeur. The acoustics are phenomenal, creating a truly immersive experience for any performance. Whether it's a classical concert, a jazz performance, or a Broadway show, the sound is crisp, clear, and perfectly balanced. The staff is friendly and professional, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all patrons. They are always happy to assist with any questions or requests, making you feel welcome and valued. Overall, Royal Robert Hall is a must-visit for any music lover or anyone seeking a truly special cultural experience. The acoustics, atmosphere, and staff all contribute to a truly unforgettable evening. It is a must-stop to any first-time visitors from around the world! If you are planning to attend a concert, I highly suggest purchasing the tickets ahead of time!
It's hard to be dispassionate about this place. As the nation's village hall and home of The Proms, it is an iconic venue. Pretty much every seat is good. I have been a number of times and can only think of one seat with less than good acoustics. To really appreciate the size of the place go to The Arena seats/standing area.
