Fab child friendly museum, we spent an hour in the amazing building that really adds to the exhibition. Disappointing some of the galleries were been renovated but will keep an eye on the website to plan our second visit We have 3 boys who love dinosaurs and fossils so a visit was must.
An important spot as the first purpose build museum that's still in use in Britain! A great building that's worth just going in for. The connections to William Smith are also really fascinating. He created the first geological map of Britain.
Due to covid restrictions booked a 30 min slot. Well worth it! £1 per 10 mins for what is essentially a private viewing = Great Value.
Excellent little museum in a beautiful building.
Visited today and was really impressed with the staff especially the gentlemen with the beard and glasses was lovely to my children and was just super happy and helpful. Thanks beard guy!

Great staff, great visit, a must for anyone interested in the past
