A nice beach but not what it was, the work to install massive piles of rocks has really disrupted the feel, leaving jagged bits sticking up at the top of the beach and reducing visibility further along. The layer under the rock is ragged and clearly visible suggesting movement that will end up with more work in the future, mores the pity. It's a shale beach until mid tide normally and does get sand banks creating interesting water pools when closer to low tide.

With all the promenade and sea defences rebuilt from Lytham upto Fleetwood it's a great walk with plenty of space and fresh air .

Fantastic, free parking right by the sea. Very sunny and calm, and you can see right round the coast on a clear day, the Lakes to the North and southwards towards Blackpool Tower.nnQuick shop in Cleveleys and gentle half hour contemplating the sea, delightful.

A cracking beach with good access to the beach that is half pebbles and half sand. You get good sunsets here.

Great little beach with not all the hustle and bustle that Blackpool has.
