The photos in the website and in reality aren't true. My room was cramped, grimy scum left around shower door,the basin surround,flaky paint by shower and wall, poorly boxed in electrics, carpet not meeting the carpet grip, coffee and tea shelf not fitted properly and an electric cable and plug dangling, doing nothing as far as I could see. Wall paper starting to lift, curtains weren't hung correctly gaps all the way around, window lock broken,drafty! Restaurant and bar had been shut down despite great photos in their website. The only facility that they had was a table top cooler with expensive cans of drink. My room was NOT worth the price I paid. I wasn't the only one to complain, the gent in the next door room was also not impressed!!

Staff were friendly and welcoming. We thought there was a connected restaurant but it is actually a few minutes walk up the street and around the corner. Room was ok, clean and tidy but I was freezing at night. The shower was boiling and I have hot showers but again it worked and we were supplied with towels and sachets of shampoo and body wash. You could hear the conversations of the people in the room next to you very clearly, luckily we have kids at home so are used to it but if you are expecting a quiet stay it will depend on who is next to you! Amazing location to Alexandra palace, Uber cost us £7. We got back late and a staff member was there and available to let us in. The bed was pretty hard and the pillows weren’t much better, but again for one night, as a stay over for a gig it was fine. If you were going for a nice night away I wouldn’t recommend this hotel but if you are just looking for a place to crash after a gig it was absolutely fine.

First the pros, the room was clean albeit quite dated and the location is great for gigs at Alexandra Palace, and the price is reasonable for the location although no breakfast included. Having said that the walls are paper thin and even the quietest neighbours will keep you awake, and the mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood.nnFine for an evening but I wouldn't want to stay for several nights.

Great place to stay if visiting the area.nStaff were friendly - everything worked - room and hotel looked clean and looked after.nnOnly negative is that you have to park on the road and sometimes it's difficult to find a space
