Once in a while you come across someone who truly excels at their job on all fronts.nnThis person is Rosie Watkins who happened to be on the emergency night shift on the date we had a crisis with ournelderly diabetic dog.nnWe cannot fault her and will forever be indebted to her for literally saving the life of our Border Terrier, Dave.nnRosie was just perfect, very knowledgeable, very thorough, hard working indeed over the 3 days our dog was admitted, she seemed to be present day & night! but at the same time compassionate and kind without being over sentimental whichnsuited us. An honest approach to what could be expected in terms of success of possible treatment & costs associated with it. No false promises & no surprises. We phoned several times for updates and despite being very busy, she always took ourncalls and gave us honest updates on Dave's progress.nnI have to mention that Dave was in such a terrible state initially that we also discussed euthanasia, it seemed there was nextnto no hope when he was first admitted... but 3 days later, Dave has returned home with us which is a miracle!!! This wasnonly made possible thanks to Rosie's professionalism and the amazing team of nurses who cared for Dave at all hours ofnthe day and night. We felt they all truly cared for Dave's wellbeing as well as ours.nnWhat can we say, Rosie you truly are an exceptional Lady and Rosevean are very lucky to have you therenflying the flag. If they haven't already, they should give you a massive pay rise. ;- Thank you from the bottom ofnour hearts and thank you for studying all these years to save the lives of our beloved pets.
A huge thank you to Rosevean vet practice Penzance who treated my border collie for an adder bite when I was in Cornwall on holiday this summer. It was a nasty bite to the face, but thanks to prompt and expert treatment particularly from Anita my dog has made a full recovery. Thank you everyone at Rosevean.
Fabulous friendly Veterinary practice. They have been so very kind and helpful during our recent family bereavement and treated our animals with real care and expertise
Not good. After posting on Facebook that a kitten had been 'handed in' to the Practice my wife offered to adopt the kitten. We were later told its owner had come forward. Soon after we were told by a third party that this was a lie and that the stray had been adopted 'in house', something that we were told by the practice would not happen. So much for honesty and consideration for the feelings of others. The practice was written to. The practice did not deign to answer. Little more to be said.
Rosvean staff, from reception to nurse to vets have all taken really amazing care of both me & my dog.nnChange of plan at last minute which they handled brilliantly & they reassured me the entire time, being open to & welcoming emails with photos where necessary because I wasn’t always able to travel. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice; they prioritise the animals & their owners frost & foremost. Cat stress towels & spray in the waiting room. Plenty of space away from other pets if you have a sensitive animal or are sensory sensitive yourself plus a sign on the counter for newly grieving people, to request awareness within the practice itself. It’s subtle & shows great care.nnThey’re all lovely here, I genuinely cannot recommend them enough.
