Very professional! Everything was great!
I like browsing through the auctions here. They have treasures and artworks at good prices. High quality customer service here.
Has you walk in to the Gallery there's a coffee machine where you van help yourselves free service. The receptionist are very polite and helpful. Some of them are beautiful looking.
Recently these rooms have been very disappointing. The habit of running sales without viewing strikes me as lazy and not working in as much as the photographs are very limited in number usually 1, quality, and do little to provide an accurate representation of the piece. Why not take a selection of photos and why not give a condition report without the need for asking when there is obviously damage or issues. In their last sale I bought 5 items of furniture with each item having issues that would make you rethink buying. These ranged from missing pieces, outrageous active wood work, breakages, items that are not fit for purpose. It almost feels like a con and certainly not something I would condone in my business. I will certainly think twice before buying here again where no viewing is permitted as frankly there is no excuse for not having viewing days when you have so few sales and lots. Really disappointing stuff. I've also found the staff to be less friendly and less knowledgeable than at any time in the past 30 years of frequenting this auction house.Buyers should be very careful.
Easy to get a free valuation via the online facility and their expert emailed very soon after with further information on how to proceed to auction. Onsite customer parking made it simple to drop items of interest off and the person I'd emailed with came to reception and reviewed my items. All in all a very simple, efficient and friendly service.
I was impressed with the Vibrant Energetic Professional Service i Received on My Visit to drop Off Paintings For Auction arranged with Lara and William . All of whom are a Credit to The Firm.
I have sold a few manuscripts through Roseberys and have been very pleased with the results
I had my first experience with Roseberys today and I'm very disappointed. I was referred to them for selling some antique and classic furniture. After sending in pictures of all the items Peter agreed they would sell all 6 pieces of furniture in one of their auctions. Today they came to collect the furniture so I made sure the drive was empty for easy access to the furniture, where it was stored. Driver insisted parking around the corner so we started walking the furniture to the van. Half way through loading the driver said that he cannot take the furniture except 1 antique cabinet. This wasn't what was agreed. As you might have understood by now this driver was very unhelpful. No customer service skill of any kind to almost rude. Why did he start loading in the first place? Who gave him the authority to decide and why wasn't I told that it wasn't sure if they would load all 6 pieces of furniture. Needless to say, I'll will avoid using Roseberys going forward. A complete waste of time.
Best Experience ever. I have bought from most of the UK Auction Houses and some abroad but Roseberys has been the top on all levels. Great items and very helpful and accommodating staff. Highly Recommended!!!!
The best South London Auction, friendly accommodating staff.
