We popped in for a few drinks during the day, then returned later for the '2 courses for £11.45' special, chicken wings, popcorn cauliflower and 2x rump steak mains. The food was all great, the only thing that trumped the food was the amazing service from Neil, he seemed to be doing a bit of everything, very polite and very attentive.
Excellent meal and amazing value. Kids menu £5.99 for 3 courses! Absolutely worth every penny, great size meal steak & chips, poppin chicken & chips menus are very clear and detailed. The 2 courses for £9.99 for adults are also fantastic, plenty choice and great sizes. Waitress Annemarie? Sorry if that’s wrong was lovely she explained the drinks and refills for us and was really friendly. Drinks are priced fairly too considering how well priced the food is! Will absolutely be back. Thank you all. Kid-friendliness: Our kids are 10/3 and were welcomed by all the staff we spoke to. We didn’t have to wait long to be served at all so there was really no time for them to get bored. Really good service. Wheelchair accessibility: We didn’t personally require a wheelchair but there is a huge ramp right outside for easy accessibility.
Very disappointing visit. We’re regular customers but were sadly let down on this occasion. We ordered the Sunday Roast and both plates arrived looking a lot smaller than usual. Four of the items listed on the roast dinner menu description were not served. No carrots, no roast parsnips, no Savoy cabbage and no stuffing. We were very surprised as we had not been informed by the staff on ordering that they had run out of any items or somethings weren’t available. The beef was also not served pink as ordered. It was certainly not value for money with half the plate empty. The coffee served was not the usual good quality and even after two attempts it was still served weak and watery with none of the usual creamy top. We were also not seated at the table number I had reserved. Really hope it was a one off ‘bad day’ for the restaurant and it will return to usual good standard.
This place is great for a tasty meal I've had lots of great experiences eating here. Though, I was there the other night and asked the guy if they done soup the reply I got was and I quote 'if its not on the menu it's not here' then he proceeded to walk away mumbling something. This, if im honest, came across quite rude. But thankfully, he never came back near our table after bringing the drinks. The girl who brought the meals and dealt with the bill was very nice and made up for the experience of the guy. Might be a while before I go back though. Parking: There are quite a few spaces all on a hill best to park and leave in gear to keep your car from rolling.
The Rosebank Beefeater is next to the Premier Inn, where we were staying for 2 nights. On our first evening we had dinner in The Rosebank. The place was warm and the lighting provides a nice background. The staff were lovely - friendly but professional. The food was of a high standard and good value for money. We returned the next morning for breakfast, which was excellent. In particular the cooked breakfast, made to order, was "one of the best breakfasts I've had " remarked my husband. Would highly recommend The Rosebank Beefeater as a good quality, good value eatery.
Where to start, arrived for 7pm table told that there was no booking. And they were busy so went to hotel and I was shown the booking so they made another booking in person, for7:30pm didn't get sorted until. 8:30pm. Food was hot, at that point wasn't bothered what came, as only 3 staff on, let the side down, Now come to the morning wow great staff happy quick service and only one serving what a credit to the restaurant hot food well done chef, they get the stars back up, pm needs work. Wish it could be better for a beefeater.
Booked last minute for mothers day today. Explained when we got there that had ran out of the Sunday roast menu. Staff ran off their feet, extremely busy. 30 to 40 minute wait on food, tbf we were a large table, kids got hungry and bored, service was excellent and all food better than descent. Well done, am impressed..
amazing service and high quality food for a good price, the sirloin steak with a glass of Shiraz has to be the best. Anne-Marie, Connor and Pauline made me and my gf feel as welcome as ever and would 100% recommend this place. Best restaurant I've been to so far :.
Shocking experience. Very slow with the drinks to begin with. Did not have any chicken or beef and we ordered at 3pm. Then took 2 hours to get our mains. Constant mistakes with the drinks, every drink round had big errors. Food portions were small and cooked badly. Staff were nice, only saving grace.
We had breakfast here as part of out stay with premier Inn the food we cannot fault but our server was clearly not a morning person, he was not rude but very grumpy, at most premier Inn breakfasts they serve buffet style but here was table service which was a nice change, so he took our order but when the food came it was not exactly what we had asked for but because he was clearly not in a good mood we just kept stum and ate up and left. Not the best experience but like I said the actual food was nice and hot.
