I find this a very good nursing home and my mother has been there for some time now. It is very difficult for me as I live in Germany but whenever I call, the staff always try to be helpful and listen to my problems. I was in England visiting in February and they were all very kind and I feel that mum is definitely in the right care home.
I recently went to collect someone for a regular appointment that the home was familiar with. Couldn't raise the care staff. After at least 30 minutes of knocking and phoning it rang out, I had to leave without the individual. Shocking.
Lovely home that has made huge improvements recently. Made to feel very welcome and well done to all the team.
Room gets too hot from sun through large bay window, curtains have to be closed and windows opened on a very busy road. Dishes often not cleared away till next meal served. Hot drinks hit and miss, often don't get one. Some of the staff are excellent and like a bit of fun.
Would not put my dog in here let alone a human. Disgusting. Items stolen within 24 hours of entering the building. Staff didn't seem to be interested in the residents. So glad to get my uncle out of there and so was he .
My nan was in here for 3 weeks , she was sent From the hospital for further assessments, first impression was shocking, the pen to sign in was the inner part of a pen , nans room was disgusting , peeling paint on the walls , her table all chipped and broken , a breading ground for germs in my opinion, insdie the bed rail was thick with grime , soiled seat on commode and toilet . I asked one morning for the radiator to be turned down as it was like an oven, but stated to the carer and person in charge when i left if they could turn it up for the evening, nan was told they didnt know how to use it so she was left cold all night long !! On one occasion when i visited nan needed to use the bathroom , i got the careers, who at the time were gound in blue gloves and aprons for serving lunch , to my horror they assisted nan with personl needs still in the blue personal potection and not white as it should be and then continued to serve lunch to the home , no hand washing or changing of there aprons or gloves , utterly disgusting!!!! They home advertised a activity schedule, no evidence of this was seen by me my nan or family members , the only activity witnessed was the activity coordinator colouring with 2 children not the clients. There is no dining room or table , the wheel chair ramp to access the rear was totally rotten and un usable . Nan lay in bed nearly the whole time , no stimulation offered at all , she was even too frightened to ring the buzzer to use the bsthroom as staff had previously not been very nice to her . On a vist from the social worker i asked her if she would put her family in here , her reply was no !! That says it all !! The place needs investigating and shutting down , its a disgrace, and no vulnerable person should be left in there!! DISGUSTING!!!
my mum went into rose villa on Friday 17/7/2020 . I couldn't be more happy for the care mum has had, the staff are brilliant and the care they give is priceless, to know my mum is being truly cared for , A big thank you to all the staff your all stars, thank you again and stay safe.
My nana went to this nursing home from hospital we are really happy with the care she has been given from all the staff and physiotherapist she has settled in really well and when speaking to her she is really happy says the food is lovely and and the staff are amazing as a family we would like to thank everyone at Rosevilla for everything you are doing and for looking after our nanna it’s a lovely nursing Home
My nan went to rosevilla from hospital to help her build her strength before she went home i cant thank the staff enough for the care they gave my nan she received even though we couldnt go on due to covid we spoke to her though the window and she was very well cared for thank you rosevilla staff
My mother was there for assessment for 3 weeks,never been in such a terrible Place,no stimulation,,buzzers going constantly.terrible place.staff were nice that was the only good thing about the place,needs sorting out or closing down.
