I ordered cod & chips and pie & chips. The food was not great. The food was only warm and the chips had been re-heated. The pie was of poor quality, gravy with hardly any chicken content. The cod was soggy underneath. I won't use them again.
I didn't enjoy the fish haddock at all . It tasted as though had been either refrozen a few times and reheated or cooked in a microwave. Not fresh tasting or fluffy like you would expect from a chippy. Chips were OK, no complaints there. Won't be returning, particularly for the price paid which didn't reflect the quality.
Only had a portion of chips but a bit expensive and a bit greasy too.Food: 2/5

This place is great! Hadn't had fish and chips for ages as was always so disappointed with other locations. Tried this place and it was easily the best I'd had that I can remember! Fish was nicely cooked, batter fresh, and just the right amount of crunch. Chips crisp and fresh - not soggy. Perfect.
Fantastic fish and chips. come here every time I visit the area and its still great. Was quite busy today waited around 15 mins for the order
Always use this place for 7 years my dad 25 yrs best fish n chips in the area just brilliant. Call n pick up this past year . Highly recommended

Best Fish and Chips in the area. Freshly cooked to perfection in my opinion. When visiting the area from Southampton we always drop in for Haddock and chips. Well worth the visit . Did not have to wait long.
Well, this is the Medium Cod I received last night... had I opened the box before I got home I would have asked for a refund. Or asked if this was a kids meal!
