Both Flat Eric and I love Joules pubs, never been to a bad one. This pub is a super old world pub down a side alley. Flat Eric had a pint of Joules Pale Ale. Ic and Flic on cider. Toilets upstairs. A super pub to visit. Lovely ambience.
Back in here for the 3rd time in two days. My husband says it's a very nice pint of Guinness. Had sandwiches yesterday, which were well made and came with fab, skin-on fries. Mouse bar is interesting.
This is such an attractive and charming historic pub. Stopped for a little drink and the whole place captured my attention.
This place is worth visiting. Came for lunch and didn't disappoint. : Nice menu, really reasonably priced. Nice and cozy décor, beer garden too. Really friendly, polite girls behind a bar and in restaurant. Recommended. Will be back.
Small friendly bar, we went for the live music bur as soon as he began singing other patrons felt the need to shout over him to continue their conversations. I did not find it a place to enjoy live music .
