Rose & Crown

Very impressed to find a restaurant like this in this part of town and was happy to splurge on the exciting looking menu. The children's menu was less enticing but we ended up ordering a main menu smaller portion (note more than half price for less than a half portion). The restaurant is stylish, fresh and bright and the menu changes regularly, it appears. The portion size isn't big, but that is the norm in this type of restaurant. The staff were attentive and friendly although not as efficient as they could be; walking away empty handed and having to return again with spoons, etc. But it was a lovely relaxing enjoyable evening and very lucky to find such an option; open something similar in Haverfordwest please!

Great, cheap lunch. Soup and a sandwich with a pint of (wo)OSH for under a tenner. Friendly, unhurried service and sit where you like. Can't go wrong!

Saturday 16th Sept... Three of us looking for a quick feed before the late ferry. There were approx 20 other punters seated relaxing Inc a table of 8.We were seated and approached by the waitress to say large group (8) were about to order and we would have to wait 30mins before we could order. I explained two of us just want the roast of the day which would easily could've been plated up while the other table ordered. The waitress said "no, you'll have to wait" We walked out leaving the till 50 euro lower than the it could have been. Lazy

Great food. James, behind the bar, provides a friendly welcome. Service seemed a bit slow tonight. Other than that, worth a visit.
