Everything has been perfect here. The room has a great view and it's very comfortable. 2 nice chairs to sit by the window and look out over the bay. And the food was incredible! They have their own Master Chef in the kitchen.
I stayed 2 nights for a friend's nearby wedding, my train came in very late and I was greeted warmly/professionally by staff. Breakfast was good both mornings and the location is lovely and tranquil.nMy room was very spacious and clean with modern furnishings and a comfortable bed/pillows.n- special thanks to Dai and Grace who gave me some great company/entertainment on my first night after an extremely long day of traveling.
Room was clean and tidy. Service was a slow for evening meal and breakfast.nDefinitely wouldn't recommend staying here though if on business as didn't provide a VAT receipt. Spoke to a member of staff over 6 times over the space of 4 weeks asking for a VAT invoice, manager has never rang back. Something so simple shouldn't be so difficult.
Great location with friendly staff and good food. Had the roast pork belly which was very nice. Service was quick and the food came out quickly and was very tasty. Would definitely recommend
Giving a 5-star review because the Crab Rarebit also with poached eggs and black pudding at breakfast was a six-star experience. However the coffee machine wasn’t working so had to have instant. The room was nice but slight damp smell in the Annex. Overall happy because of the chef.
