Home from home! Food well cooked and presented and a friendly welcome every time from Jo, Kelly and Andy. Nothing is too much trouble and friends we have introduced to the cafe are well impressed. Andy comes with a good knowledge of rugby so sports talk is entertaining! Love it here!Food: 5/5
ThankYou so much for catering for my allergy this week. We came for an afternoon tea and the entire experience was wonderful. Thank you for your care and attention. We shall be back! Dietary restrictions: Absolutely fab not too much trouble to assist with my allergies. Felt safe and looked after thank you Andy & Jo!
Nice little café just off the main boulevard. Good value food and when you go for a large coffee, it's in a cup large enough to swim in. Much appreciated! It was a busy Saturday lunchtime when we visited, so there was a delay on the food they genuinely were flat-out, but we were told that up front, which is great and we weren't under any kind of time pressure. The food was good when came and we had a very decent lunch. Next level: the only thing I might ask for is a little bit of heating in the toilets. The main body of the café was nice and warm, but the gents was ... chilly. I appreciate it's not an easy trick to heat a small room which isn't occupied all that much and has running water, but it would just add that extra something to the experience...
Afternoon tea delivered a few days ago. The selection and quality was superb! A real treat. Fantastic carrot and chocolate cake. scones and cream, meringues, and the best chocolate tiffin ever. Thank you.
Waited ages for 2 drinks ,had peanut thing which was a biscuit but was soggy ,it was weird ,also I noticed the older man licking his fingers everyone he turned the little order book and didn’t wash hands before touching cups which I found abit Food: 3/5
Had a lovely family meal here. The staff were friendly and accomodating and the food delicious and reasonably priced. My children polished off there meals which they don't ever do, which is a great seal of approval. Kid-friendliness: Staff very good and patient with my SEN children.
Lovely tea rooms with even lovelier food. Good service too. Parking: Parking available at Nort Street car park. I paid £1.60 for 3 hours as I shopped as well but can pay less parking too.
Never again the meatball sub is bland seems to be out of a tin go to courtyard cafe for proper food.Food: 1/5
