I placed my order for Sisal Rope late on Thursday afternoon and am so impressed with the speed it was despatched and service this company gives. My order arrived safe and sound on Friday. Would definitely highly recommend them
I ordered some rope that turned out to be wrong for what i needed for my willys jeep . Totally my own fault. Spoke to a lovely lady and they advised me on the right rope, they made it up and got it out to me next day and refunded my original purchase. Lovely customer support I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.
Mixed results across 3 orders of hemp rope. First order of 6mm came and turned out to be synthetic and not natural fiber, they replaced and were really good about it. Bought 100m of 5mm hemp, good quality. Purchased 33m of 4mm hemp and ended up with some sort of cordage which whilst burns like natural fiber definitely isn't hemp. Also it's closer to 3mm. Didn't bother returning as to much faff and ordered elsewhere the hemp shop on-line does great 4mm. Would probably give them 5 stars if they hadn't sent me a product that obviously wasn't the right fiber 2 out of 3 times.
Good products, but I believe there needs to be an indication of stock on the website. I placed an urgent order for some rope for the bank holiday weekend as I was looking to lace up a canoe for use on a river. I paid over £7 for next day delivery which would've arrived on the Thursday but instead the product arrived on the Sunday of the bank holiday. I was advised that as I had not logged into the website and left a contact number I processed the order as a guest they could not advise that the product was out of stock. Whilst the customer care was prompt when I had emailed them, I ended up having to use a friends canoe and was out of pocket for the price of delivery as it did not arrive on the next day. This has left a rather bitter taste in my mouth as it could've easily been resolved by having an 'out of stock' indicator on the website. Alternatively, if it was not a 'guaranteed' next day delivery, I would've expected less and gone elsewhere. If you are after quality products, don't let this review put you off, but if you need them urgently, I'd recommend either going elsewhere or taking extra steps.
Excellent product and very helpful team Matt and Katy, who helped me. I suggest calling them to discuss any future order for their advice on your application. Initially I made a mistake when ordering online but they painlessly rectified this. Very satisfied.

IF ONLY ALL SUPPLIERS WERE THIS GOOD I can highly recommend RopeLocker. Customer service was excellent. They were able to adapt an order incorporating some specific fittings we needed. Order was made up super quick, delivery ahead of time, and quality of product is first class. What more can you ask for - oh yes - pricing very reasonable.
We had a small project to do in our garden and received expert advice on what we would need. The advice given was perfect.
I spoke to Helen at ropelocker at 3pm yesterday with a fiddly little technical enquiry that could hardly be worth her time or effort.....NOT a massive sale at all!. Helen and her colleague in the background answered my questions categorically ,sorted out an incredible price for something that I needed to be different to how it is usually listed on the websitepersonalised service! AND when i got up this morning it was here! That means: cut to specifications, sent out from Essex , 296 miles up to blackpool using parcelforce and royal mail, to my door overnight and it solves my fiddly little problem EXACTLY for an incredible price. I'm SO impressed with that service that when the equipment I'm working with now is past it's best, ropelocker will be my first port of call. Excellent!!!!
Katy @ ropelocker was most helpful. Guided me on the best rope to use for our grand children's swing. She replied promptly and answered the question in full. The man made hemp rope product is 1st class. Arrived in 48 hours. I love supporting local companies whose staff like Katy really care, even if the order was just £20.
