I was at Stanhope for a drink with a couple of lads and we noticed this small Indian takeaway,it was the only food place there but we are regulars at the other Roots of India in framwellgate moor, so we were happy that our regular local takeaway has a branch in Stanhope, so we went and ordered some food and the young lad working there called Saj was very helpful and told us our food would be 15 minutes so we went for a quick pint and when we came back it was ready on time. High Quality food and fast and friendly service !!!

me and the wife had some Lamb Tikka Masala IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, the wife found the lamb a little tough but I found mine was okay, but hey they only buy the meat in, they don't raise it and butcher it. The food is well cooked good sized portions and very competitively priced, we will always go back.
