So, last night I was high as a MF, and ended up getting off the bus at the wrong stop; but, BOI, am I glad I did, not a second later than I had stepped from the bus did my munchies kick in, I needed food, DESPERATELY, and there I see it, "Roosters chicken and grill" my prayers had been answered, I thought my eyes fooled by some spell, however, I walk inside and am greeted by a man who, despite his lack of English fluency more than made up for it in culinary wizardry, I was passed onto another who could understand my idiotic, stoned slurring and was told I would need to wait 10 minutes, which I did, may have been a little longer than 10 but patience is a virtue my friends, I stepped outside after receiving my meal and a fond farewell and reached into the bag. I pulled out a Mozzarella stick and bit it, chewed carefully as not to burn my mouth, I was overwhelmed with an ecstasy as though suckling mozzarella cheese from the teat of the Mother Buffalo herself. Greasy, but not too greasy, the cheese, chewy but not rubbery. Next I sampled the southern fried chicken, and OH BOY MR KRABS, I'M FEELING IT, crispy, barely greasy at all yet... SUCCULENT, fair sized pieces of chicken sated a cannabinoid induced catabolism and seemed positively enthusiastic about climbing into my mouth to die. Finally, the pièce de résistance, the wings, oh good Sers, the wings, a spice that tickled at wounds on my fingers slightly as I held them and bit at my taste buds when I tasted it, the chicken itself, soft, moist, tender, EVERYTHING you could want from a wing of chicken. Now, I'm a weakling white boy and won't lie, the spice got me a little with my little willy out and got me sweating a little but nothing I couldn't handle and counter with some of that tasty, tasty mozzarella . All in all, I rate it a 4/5, would be a 5/5 but at a certain point during the preparation of my food the shop was filled with smoke from the kitchen, not enough to choke but still enough to notice, regardless, good service, good food and a Gooseman stamp of Approval, will eat again.

Food is excellent and fresh and Big portions And staff friendly. Don't understand the bad comments as never had a problem and I order from here all the time. Would highly recommend.

Dont even deserve 1 star but i had to so i could put a review. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!! The food is revolting ive eaten here twice and both times the burgers have been like rubber!!! I ordered a kids meal with a drink and they didnt send the drink, i rang and spoke nicely asking for the drink they told me the drink was on its way, 20 minuets later it still didnt arrive!!!! i then told them i wanted a refund and they argued with me using the usual excuse 'i cant the manager is on holiday' the drink finally arrived while i was on the phone and he told me to show him the meal and i did and he carried on arguing with me, and told me i wont have a refund if i had touched the meal as if he was going to give it to someone else 😂😂😂😂. I finally got my refund!!! on a good note the driver was very polite and patient. I will not order from here again, i am disgusted!!!!!

When asked for meal deal from webpage to collect it was avialable but for higher price, pieces of kebab two fingers wide, dry, thin. In the "salad" there was literally one slice of small tomato. Asked for chicken doner in second kebab- got some red colored chicken. And there was black hair in it. Not impressed, would not go there again. For almost 6 quids i could have loads of food in stafford chippy

Food tastes amazing! It was my first time here. Came with a friend. Ordered Chicken fillet burger with chips. Really generous portion size, chicken fillet was cooked really well and to top it off the peri peri seasoning on the chips has got to be the best flavour I've tasted in a long time!!! Highly recommend checking this place out
