Went for Haircut and roots colour with highlights, really pleased with the service. Hair dresser Shaista is super friendly and listening to exactly what I wanted. A nice place and a good hair cut. The place was dirty! The owner not assistant got dye on my clothes - no apology but instead INCREASED THE PRICE 3 TIMES! She had no shame whatsoever and insisted that she had given me a towel after my wash as if a towel is not a basic requirement when washing hair?!. I returned with the clothes having seen how bad they were and demanded she clean them. There was no offer on her part! Very unprofessional! I have edited my review to add photos. You decide for yourself if this was a salon experience.....don't say you weren't warned! To the salon owner, shame on you for getting your friends to add reviews in order to comment on my review - its totally dishonest and unethical - I hope Google pick up on this!
Been coming here every 3 weeks for eyebrows since it opened. Friendly, professional and spot on service. The salon is absolutely not dirty as below review mentions. Feel this is highly unfair and should be removed as false by Google. Wonderful salon and would be lost without it!
I been in the new roop salon got my hair cut a few times. I was soo impressed with the lady professional amazing hair cut layers. So lovely & friendly stuff. I had a half head of highlights done with Shaista a few weeks ago. Very pleased with the results. Shaista was really friendly and accommodating and did a great job. I found her to be professional and knowledgeable and she checked I was happy throughout the process. The salon itself is professional and clean. I recently visited the salon again, all members of staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for an excellent service. I highly recommend this salon.
I wasn't going to write this review but I walked out in tears. My hair was rib height and needed a post lock down chop. Fairs fair, quite a bit needed to come off. In the end,I left in tears. Three women it took to butcher my hair. Pictures included. They were all lovely and polite but there wasn't much they could do with little knowledge and BLUNT SCISSORS. Too late, my hair took 7 years to grow. 2hours it took to wash and butcher said hair with a failed attempt at bleaching my green out. I'm MORTIFIED. Left without paying didn't like doing it but god knows what I'm going to do now. My mum went back and complained,she left with £15, is that really acceptable compensation?
I had my eyebrows done here yesterday and it was lovely. COVID guidelines followed, sanitise on way in with temp taken and masks worn and social distancing followed. The ladies were all so lovely and welcoming and the lady who did my eyebrows was so gentle and got them spot on, and the lady who tinted them made sure they were even. Salon is clean and bright, loving the recent refurb, and enjoyed their friendly chat and they made me feel so comfortable. Recommend 110% and good value for money.
I don't write reviews but I feel people should be aware of this. I went for my cut and colour using my groupon yesterday. Before she started she said I needed to pay £20 surcharge because I have long hair, this was not mentioned on the groupon. She then dropped it to £15. She is very inexperienced in hair cutting. Please see the terrible highlights and the cutting is terrib0le. In the shop it was dark so I couldn't notice how bad it was till I got home. I wouldn't have paid the extra £15!!PLEASE AVOID your hair will be messed up!! No temp check on arrival, she did not have face mask on. She dealt with 2 customers doing their eyebrows whilst doing my highlights and no hand-wash in between.
Under new management now and Shaista is great. I get my eyebrows and upper lip done here every 2 weeks and she is really thorough and super friendly! Really good shaped eyebrows. Would definitely recommend.
Had a layered haircut and full body massage. No complaints at all. They were so accommodating to my requests. Highly recommended.
