Visited this show for the first time yesterday and well it is unwelcoming to say the least. Despite them knowing the heat well in advance no shade was provided - infact the shady areas had actively been blocked off! Lack of things to do, very overpriced kids rides £3-5 each for 30 second ride and overpriced food lacking vegetarian options. Love the new forest show even in the heat but this show is clearly dying. Not sure what the £20 entrance fee was for to be honest and agree with last year's reviews it's mainly just food stalls. Doubt il be back - the only thing worth visiting was the craft tent and reptiles.

Unfortunately the first time at the show and I just don’t understand what we paid £18 each for. Horrific traffic management on the roads around - 1.5 hours to queue last few miles. Cannot state enough how bad this was. Food stalls crammed into one main area with huge queues. We then realised very late on in the day that there was a whole other section with food stalls? Not much going on inside the gates aside from the aforementioned food stalls and a few bits and bobs stalls which you could access for free normally in city centres and parks. Huge potential but sadly missed the mark.
Just returned from the Romsey Show. Saturday 10th Sept. 2022. Our day started by sitting in traffic for two hours trying to enter the car park. Absolutely ridicules only having one entrance. The shows entrance fees were far too expensive for what was available inside. Many stores could not accept payment as they had no internet. We have been before and had a wonderful day but after this year we will not be going again. What has happened to the show, no larges arena, no real displays, it was like a glorified market. Very very disappointed. What on earth were you thinking when you had one entrance in and out. Stupid
Great show even if the weather was a bit damp.
What an awful day. The traffic management was non existent which meant we queued for 2 hours. The show was poorly arranged and mainly food sales. Not enough parking. Just a total let down. I’ll not go again
Great show we will do it again
Went to Romsey show yesterday and I share all the views of the people who commented so far on 2022 event. Took ages to get in and then inside poor/non existing signage . Not much to see at all that was worth the entrance fee. Horribly crammed walkways by food stalls and too many of these anyway , terrible layout. Nothing remarkable at all to watch or see.
Qued an hour to get parked. When in show ground 80% food and drinks stalls. Very little else on show. Poorly organised. Stayed an hour and a quarter. Left and qued another hour to get out. Very poor.
As the previous person said 1 hr 15 minutes traffic queue to get in down to poor planning. Very disappointing compared to previous years. Definitely not worth the entrance fee.
