The staff are brilliant and always helpful. My wife and l wanted screw fittings for grab rails and they went out of their way to help us. Customer service at its finest.
Many years ago, I wandered into this store simply following my dad, with no intention of buying anything—until I spotted a joke floppy banana! I knew I had to have it, no matter the cost. When I saw it was on sale, from £1 down to 50p, I rushed to the shop owner to make the purchase. But since there was a minimum for card payments and I didn’t have any cash, I had to ask my dad to buy it for me LOL! That day has always stayed with me, and the store holds a special place in my heart because of it. I still use the floppy banana yes, the FB! to this day, and it never fails to bring a smile to my face. Thank you, Romsey Hardware, for that unforgettable experience!
A little gem in Romsey. If you are looking for a knowledgeable service with a smile then look no further than Romsey Home Hardware, in The Hundred. I go in with fingers crossed and 9 times out of ten, come out thinking I should have looked in the shop before wasting time running around trying to find what I want elsewhere.
Always call into Home Hardware Romsey when looking for anything slightly in the ironmonger line. Have rarely been disappointed and the staff are always helpful and courteous. Today, it was just a dustpan/brush and some rubber gloves but was treated just the same as if I made a large purchase. Thankyou.
A great local shop which deals with all customer needs politely, efficiently with a high degree of professionalism. Always a pleasure to deal with, Romsey would be lost without them.

Handy shop with a lot of odd bits and bobs for round the home. Prices aren’t too bad. reason for the poor review is the rude man working behind the counter. Twice I have seen him be very arrogant to the elderly customers in the store. I was applaud at his behaviour
I popped in for 2 bulbs and have never been spoken to like this before The man I spoke to was so rude & nasty shouting at me that 1 bulb isnt made anymore & he would bin it for me I said no & he got nasty still shouting me,if this is how he treats people Im surprised he still has a job. as it is I went to another hardware shop & got said bulb no problem & staff there were very nice. I wont be going back into this shop for anything.
Always helpful, have most products certainly better than travelling to bigger store. I would also go there first
Brilliant store we have shopped there often they always have what we want and staff are always so helpful and polite, despite the odd grumpy customer. From a happy OAP
