Dropped in for a late evening round when it was quiet. Fantastic course, well maintained, some tricky holes and enough variation in terrain too make it interesting without having to climb up many hills. Friendly welcome as well and a bargain if you come around 5pm as the rates drop. We'll definitely come again.
Course in very good condition, greens really superb, bunkers are a bit overfilled with heavy sand or maybe I was just bad out of bunkers today.nnThe food though was the best I've ever eaten in a golf club; all 'home made', really delicious and very nicely presented too. Definitely worth going to eat there irrespective of the golf!
We had our exchange day today where members of Sale swap with Romiley members and play each other's courses.nnWhat a pleasure it has been!nnYou could not get greater contrast between 2 parkland courses.nnOurs is flat and testing Romiley is undulating and testing.nnROMILEY is in excellent condition and very enjoyable to play. It is a lovely driving course with lots of banked fairways and dog legs.nnFrom pro shop to half way housenplus the clubhouse staff we received a very friendly reception.nnMyself and playing partners thoroughly enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it
This is one of my favourite golf course in Cheshire, well maintained, some really tricky/challenging holes. Although the weather conditions have been poor recently yet the course was in brilliant condition.nAlso staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
Lovely course. Plenty of character, nice average speed greens and some nice views. Friendly members and pro shop staff. Pro Graham is a top bloke and great coach.
