We went for my sister's 50th, the room was set out with balloons on the table. The food was put on by the venue and was ok, the bar was open when we arrived which was nice we didn't have to queue for a drink.  The staff were very pleasant and friendly and if you needed anything it wasn't to much trouble for the staff.

Birthday party.  Not good. Bit of a damp squid. Place not welcoming. Didn't feel like the place was open for a celebration.
