after using a couple of jewellers in my local area, Gosforthwho were to be honest terrible customer service & expensive, I found Rodger Russell, in Whitley Bay, they are lovely! The staff are genuinely helpful, nothings to much trouble, prices reasonable! Staff are welcoming, which i find refreshing, from the minute you walk through the door, they are there to welcome you & offer assistance! I have been back half dozen times since, to get advice, estimates & repairs etc… I wanted to write this review as praise, however i am hesitating in posting,as then everyone will know about this hidden little shop! Selfish!? YES!!! Once you have been, you wont go any where else! & you can usually get parked outside!!
We had an old Watch serviced here, it was done quickly and although the front glass is not available any more they managed to polish the scratches out leaving the watch looking almost new, great job
Fixed my old Rolex Airking. Had previously used a well known Rolex dealer in Newcastle who charged the earth, only for the watch to drastically lose time a month after the paltry 12 month guarantee expired. Roger Russell's fix was less than half the price and two years on is as good as new. Reliable, expert and professional service with staff who keep you updated.
Bought some beautiful earrings. Was served by a helpful assistant and even got my purchase gift wrapped.
