Great book store with lots of variety in stock. Brilliant service for the school books. A lovely weekend treat to pop in and take time to select your next read.
Great to be able to browse real books instead of shopping online. Chatting to one of the shopkeepers I commented how it's so nice to look inside a book before I buy it and she said it was so good to have customers back in. Always friendly and helpful.
Such a warm and welcoming book shop! Have had very positive experiences here both with my own children and with a large group of children for World Book Day. Staff are so so friendly and knowledgeable and have a great way about them with the little ones. Great selection of many genres. Delighted to browse and buy in a local shop, we will definitely be back!
I love this store. If they don't have it they will do their best to get it and as quickly as possible. Staff are wonderful. They are helpful, friendly and welcome you so warmly. Great place to have a nice coffee too.

Great store. Not only a great book store with lovely staff, but its also one the only places I know of in Louth that sells collectible movie/comic book figures. I collect this stuff so its great not to always do the trek up to Dublin for forbidden planet or Dublin City Comics. They have some really decent figures with good prices here so I am certainly gonna spend some money in a nice local bookstore as opposed to the stores in Dublin.

Great staff and brilliant pricing with an incredible selection of books. Some book stores in Dundalk over the years tried to create a good atmosphere but none have ever achieved it like Roe River has done. Great selection of kids books.
Good selection of books and the staff were very helpful. If what you require is not in stock, they will order for you.
Fantastic place, well lsid out, well chilled and a nice atmosphere. I was in looking for books for my 14 year olds junior cert exams, the chap who served me was great, got me wh as t they had and told me about the other books they didn't. Very informative and good behind the counter an art in itself. Definitely going back, and not just for the school books!
