Story

Welcome to the Roe Park Resort – one of Northern Ireland's premiere golf and spa resorts. Overlooking its own stunning 18 hole golf course and set amidst the gorgeous surroundings of the Roe Valley Country Park, this 4 star luxury hotel boasts 118 stylish en suite rooms that blend the charm of a country house estate with the modern luxuries and conveniences you'd expect from a 4-star luxury hotel.

In keeping with the elegance of the traditional country house estate, all our rooms and suites have been beautifully decorated to complement the original building and offer fabulous views of either the golf course or courtyard garden. Together they provide the perfect setting to unwind after a busy day seeing the sites of the Causeway Coast or nearby historic city of Derry-Londonderry, playing a few holes on some of Northern Ireland's best golf courses or pampering yourself in our Elemis Spa.

We have just spent a night here at Roe Park Resort. The room was lovely and the beds were comfortable. It was a bit warm, even though the heating wasn't on, but we had 2 windows that we could open and that worked well; there was also a fan in the room, but we didn't need it. Little added extras included: complementary toiletries in the bathroom, slippers and bathrobes. The resort has a fully equipped gym, swimming pool with sauna and stream room and a spa, which offers treatments that you can book in advance for. We didn't eat there in the evening as we were already booked somewhere else for food it did smell delicious though! We did have breakfast. Breakfast is buffet style with both cooked and continental choices. We would definitely go back again!
Stayed here for New Years Eve with my two children. Perfect from arrival to leaving. Food was delicious in the courthouse. Lovely staff all over the hotel. Great atmosphere in reception and bar area. The residents lounge was very nice too, near to the bar, but still kept privately away. I'll be back again, no doubt about it.Rooms: 5/5
I was here for a wedding. The location was absolutely beautiful. The food was excellent! Service from all the staff was amazing. Have been coming here on and off for years. Stayed one night and enjoyed a lovely walk from the hotel to Roe Valley Park and back took 1 hour. Enjoyed the spa facilities lovely new robes to wear down to the pool. Enjoyed a beautiful meal in the Coach House served by attentive staff. Breakfast was good too great variety.Rooms: 4/5
Driving along the winding road to the hotel you are greeted with scenic hilly views. It was very foggy and looked beautiful. When we arrived the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The layout of our suite was amazing. It felt really elegant and the hot-tub added a super luxurious touch. I hadn't realised we would have one so that was a great surprise when we looked in the bathroom. The bed was massive and comfortable, but it was sloping downwards the head of the bed making it feel a bit odd. We just slipped a few things under the legs and it was fine. There was only a few negatives - the floor was a bit dirty and clearly wasn't vacuumed well?. The bathroom window had a lot of black mold.
I have stayed in this hotel a few times over the past couple of years, I’ve just returned from a 2 days stay for a work event. Every member of staff was fantastic, welcoming and so helpful. The reception team took the time to engage with every resident and you felt truly looked after. The food breakfast, lunch and dinner on both days was beautiful. We were a large party in the evening and the food arrived in good time and nice and warm, again with tentative staff there to meet our needs. I couldn’t have been happier with my stay and the owners should very proud of the team and the atmosphere and culture they have created. Noteworthy details: Great food and amazing staff
Come here regularly, usually with family. The lounge are usually open and spacious and very accommodating to children. There is a pool, sauna, gym and Spa. Coach House restaurant is above the golf complex and food is always very good. Noteworthy details: Hotel sits right on the edge of the Roe Park, great for walkers.
Had a one night stay with my family on the Santa experience. The place is nicely decorated for Christmas. The experience itself is great for the kids special shout out to Emmie the elf. We dined in the Coach House that evening. Even with the place packed, all meals came out in a reasonable time & couldn't fault them at all. Breakfast the next morning get down before 9 am to beat the queues was as you'd expect for a 4 star hotel. Even with the hotel at full capacity, the rooms and corridors were quiet something I'm all to aware of when staying in a low-cost chain of hotels!!
We spent one night at this hotel, and it was terrible. We almost had no sleep due to loud noises around the room: furniture being moved upstairs, loud banging on the radiator, and being able to hear everything that was going on. To top it off, employees were shouting early in the morning outside our window while moving some sort of golf equipment. The rooms were outdated with dirty carpets, no hairdryer, absolutely dreadful. The only few good things were the food at the restaurant and the massage at the spa, although the restaurant facilities are outdated, just like the hotel. Not worth £230 per night.
I would like to thank Audrey who took great care of my 3 youngest grandchildren last weekend. She was a star from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. She is a great asset to your hotel and is a lovely lady. Thank you Audrey for everything you did for us we really appreciated it.Rooms: 5/5
