We visited Rococo during the London Restaurant Festival in Belgravia and the guy in charge of the shop explained us very well the history and the types of chocolate they do and how. Was really interesting and the shop was beautiful, also we discovered they have a “secret” patio to have a coffee and chocolates! Prices are bit high but chocolate was delicious!
Quality, curated, unique and exotic chocolates! Love the interesting flavours like Lapchung tea dark chocolate which Is quite smoky! These make perfect gifts to bring over to someone’s home. There’s also a chocolate making class downstairs or you can do private tastings. Lots to offer!
High quality of chocolates with many different flavours . I went for dark chocolate cherries , a smashing of pumpkins and salted caramel almonds . They all were good but Salted caramel one was the winner for me.
Rococo chocolates is a shop that sells a wide variety of luxury British chocolates in the quaint and classy Belgrave area on Motcomb Street. With a counter full of chocolates including coconut pralines, pistachio pralines, rose and cocoa and so much more, I decided to opt for one of their sea salt caramel truffles along with some tea. With shabby chic chairs, the room seemed to have that touch of wonderful cottage charm. As I sat down, I was served a mug of builder’s tea £2.75. It was what one might describe as “working man’s tea” which is a strong cup of tea with a teabag very reminiscent of my uni days when people moved from door to door introducing themselves and inviting their neighbours in for a cuppa. I enjoyed this with a piece of honey sea salt caramel £1.50 which tasted rich and creamy. Still feeling greedy, I ordered a hot chocolate £4.50 which was incredibly decadent. Their hot chocolate is so popular they supply it to The Park Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge. At the back of the café, there is a staircase which leads down to a hidden colourful tiled Moroccan courtyard. I had certainly found myself a secret garden for this summer They also have a brilliant Roald Dahl collection which I thought was a fun british themed gift for both adults and children. With a myriad of different combinations and flavours of both individual chocolates and slabs to choose from as well as wafers, nougats and hampers to take away, this quintessentially british shop really is outstanding. These are not your usual brands commonly found on the high street.
It’s too good, I wanted to eat everything in the store! Wide variety of options from slabs to individual truffles. Great for gifts or self indulgence. Friendly staff and vegan friendly options too - highly recommend the pina colada chocolates!in photo Also. All the reviews about their legendary hot chocolate are true. It really is a special treat. I’ll be going back in the near future. Apologies for the uninspiring photo, but it was in the middle of a rain storm
Fantastic hot chocolate, helpful staff, lots to try. I've become a bit of a regular in all their shops
A wonderful shop, with all the excellent Rococo chocolate as usual. I also want to particularly commend Nadeem and Lorraine who work at the Belgravia location, who very kindly facilitated a charity donation for our event. Highly recommended to anyone who likes great chocolate, from a store run by great people
Great chocolate shop with some interesting treats such as cakes and ice-creams. The best are the chocolates in hundreds of original and innovative flavours
This review is for both the Marlyebone and Chelsea shops in London. I dropped in to Marylebone hoping to find some rabbit-themed chocolates for Chinese New Year. Very nice and helpful staff member told me they were out of stock, but offered to call the Chelsea branch and see if they had any available. They did and put two bags aside with my name which I headed straight over to pick up from equally nice staff at Chelsea who had the bags by the til waiting for me. An excellent experience. Highly recommended.
Lovely hot chocolate, not the cheapest but very tasty and very nice staff. The lady working in the shop is superb nice and helpful.
