Visited here a while back and brought two fish. The gentleman that served us was very helpful and informative and gave us some good advice. The fish we brought were cheaper than the other shops we had seen them in and there was a lot less questions and red tape compared to some more popular pet shops. Great shop.
Fantastic service. Very friendly, professional staff that make you feel like a valued customer. Was our first time here, and I will definitely be going again and recommend it for anyone who is looking to set up an aquarium or grow their current aquarium.
Lovely shop, has everything you need! James help me set up my first tropical fish tank, gave me very clear instructions, and everything basic i would need. The fishes in the shop look happy and healthy, lots of different varieties. He even replaced one of my tetras that unfortunately got sucked into the filter with a platie at no cost, very happy with the service received. Definitely recommend to all fish lovers in Coventry!
Really helpful staff, a great selection of fish and paraphernalia. Clean, healthy fish and plants, obviously well cared for. Prices are comparable to other small shops, not overly expensive and worth every penny considering the service received.
I have spent quite a lot of money with these guys over the years, they have a lot for a small shop. But one of the owners went all crazy at me one time he just turned for no apparent reason. Please chill out and just remember customers can and do go where they feel valued
What a fantastic edition to Coventry! I love the passion and knowledge that flows from this shop! Nothing is too much trouble, I always feel welcome and at ease to ask any questions, no matter how insignificant it may seem!
Guys here were really helpful when I went in to get the few bits and pieces I needed to get my two tanks up and running again. All the equipment that I bought works perfectly but I had to take a star off because I thought that the plants were a bit overpriced and they haven't taken to their new environment very well the plants, not the business!
Visited today, lovely shop with lots of different fish to choose from. If you want the personal touch it’s worth a visit. Big pet shops don’t offer the advice and knowledge of specialised shops like these. Will definitely be shopping there again :
Great selection of healthy looking tropical fish and plants, I really liked their Black Ruby Barbs which I've never seen before, will probably go back to get some, once I've read up about them : They also do marine and cold water fish, outdoor ponds, aquariums and everything associated. Helpful friendly staff
James & Malcolm are both "top geezers", always willing to offer sound advice, share knowledge & help out with "anything aquatic" and they always go that "extra mile" for you irrespective of how much you spend which is quite a rarity these days! These guys both know their stuff, are polite, friendly, knowledgeable & never push you to buy anything that you don't really need! I've been keeping fish, terrapins, newts, shrimp & various other aquatic based creatures over the past 45 years & have watched so many Coventry based aquatics stores "come & go" during that time. Some of them were very good but none of them were on a par with Rockpool Aquatics for making you feel "right at home" ... well done James, Malc & staff :-
