We ran in here just needing a quick bite but not rubbish food!! Little did we know!! The place was very uncomfortable and smelled to strongly of toilet cleaner! The food was edible but not good and at €2.00 A cup the coffee that was instant not even fresh was just taking the mick! The chips were from frozen, the kids nuggets, well were awful. The toilets are down stairs and I use a stick to walk and I found the toilets very difficult to get to and from. There is no wheelchair option. I would NOT recommend here for any kind of eating. I am very fair with my reviews and give stars where they are deserved.
Large food portions, but very pricey. Decorating idea was not well executed in all parts of the restaurant. Open kitchen is a nice touch because you can track your food. Bathrooms vet concerning- they're down a stairwell that resembles something from a horror! Bathrooms themselves were functional, not very modern but clean. Staff were lovely.
Some of the best if not the best American food in Limerick, I've ate in, taken away and orders online since they were under "Eddie Rockets" and since the changes it's got nothing but better, Dedicated app, the meal deal, cheaper prices, better portions and a more pleasant refreshing brand. Although I must admit I miss the rockin' joes branding their shakes are most definitely the dog. I'm losing one star due to the fact under pressure their kitchen makes mistakes I've noticed with having a few orders being unacceptable but a quick email and I was given a refund in vouchers and a genuine apology. This place is still growing and I think one day they'll make it big, I'll be there all the way as I can't get enough of their food!
Awful experience today dec 18, went in with my husband ordered a hot dog. It arrived under cooked. I called the waitress and returned it, next thing we could hear the young fellow behind the counter cursing and swearing about me. Then we saw him pick up the hot dog with his bare hands and scrape the onions off and threw it in the frier. He picked it up and said tell her its f**king cooked. Ilooked to speak to the manager who apologized he kept throwing dirty looks and muttering we decided to leave and he shouted fu*k off. I have never ever been in a restaurant or any place like here before. Never again will i go here. Disgusted
Rockin Joe's is a chain that bears more than a little resemblance to the Eddie Rocket's chain of restaurants. The former uses blue on seating, signs and menus and the latter, red. The food is Americana in style with burgers, fries, shakes and onion rings some of the key components. Burgers are good here, using fresh mince and being formed by hand. The usual assortment of condiments can be found on the table. There is a special during the day that might see you not being able to finish your meal.
Rockin Joes 10 euro meal is not to be missed! Any choice of a main course and a side with any drink included, yes i mean ANY drink on the menu. Whats not to love? With the added retro atmosphere accompanied by upbeat music it is a place not worth missing.
Worst place I have ever been in Limerick! The place was dirty, the food wasn't that good, the kitchen guy kept putting his hand in his face, the crew was rude, they were always talking in their own language and laughing, we felt very uncomfortable. I am never going back. There are better and cheaper places to go...
Took 1hr 20mins for delivery food was cold and got 3 ring milkshakes. My chicken wings had no sauce completely dry not going back
I used to love this place but after a recent visit I would never return....portion sizes have reduced dramatically, quality has really dropped and cleanliness not great...pity really as I loved to bring my kids here
Food is okay, Staff are not the most Friendly/Fastest, Would much rather pay the Extra $$ to have better Table Service and higher Quality of Food.
