We went here after seeing the excellent google reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself is bright, airy and modern.nnHappily recommend and will definitely be back.
Special deal around twenty-two pounds for two courses. Tempura prawns were OK. The main course of whole lemon sole was nicely cooked but more bone than fish. Price included unlimited chips. Overall, it was a pleasant meal. Toilets are up some stairs, so it is no good if you have accessibility issues. All clean and well kept. Staff are friendly. Casual relaxed vibe. I would go again but choose something off the main menu.
We visited for a little lunch on a quiet weekday.nWe tried the starter scallops and both had the set menu, tempura prawn and lemon sole.nnVery delicious, really nice food, great atmosphere.nOnly complaint, I think the lemon sole should come with a tartare sauce or some sort of sauce on the side, not an additional price. It could do with something extra. I do think this restaurant is quite expensive, but I would still go for a treat.nnThe tempura prawns were beautiful , not oily at all and the scallops were absolutely perfect. Really delicious.
Wonderful meal. Highly recommend the freshly caught fish. The brill was perfectly cooked and my ray wing was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
Amazing service from as soon as we walked in the door. The bubbly was delivered for my partners bithday. We were told who our server would be and he couldnt have been any more helpful. He was great with food and sauce choices. I would highly recommend to anyone. We will definetly be returning in the future.
