Service was excellent. Our waitress, her first day, was lovely. Also, Solly was great too. I liked that they wrote on your table cloth what was available that day and the price. A great moment. In addition, the welcome as we entered and when we booked, lovely, welcoming and friendly.nnLoved the shipping forecast in the toilets. A nice touch that we remember.nnUnlimited chips were really unlimited - brilliant. No terms and conditions, maybes, or if you’d, just unlimited. Ronseal!nnFish…cooked perfectly.nnAnchovy mayonnaise was exceptional. Plus, the homemade tartare was fabulous and the curry sauce was out of this world.nnThe Rockfish lager was good too.
The food is amazing here and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here, the fish is fresh which is reflected in the price, but you can taste the difference. We ordered the Wild Prawn Tempura, Prime Brixham Hake fish and chips and the Plaice off the daily specials. If you order the chips, they are unlimited which is a bonus, but the new potatoes taste much better and would recommend this.
We were so pleased to celebrate our wedding anniversary in this place. And we must say that the attention from the beginning to the end was spectacular. Our waiter explained us very passionately which fresh fish they had that day and was very polite and kind with us. The team in general is amazing we were able to see them work very hard after a very busy day with the book reservations full. Special mention to the blonde waiter who looked after us all the time and Araceli the Spanish waiter who also was very friendly. Congratulations cause the team you have is awesome. Regarding the food all our dishes were spectacular and we had the best dinner ever. From the wine to the scallops and the fish ending in a great sticky pudding. We will be back no doubts!!!
Declicious fish and chips. We have asked haddock fish to be grilled instead fried they did it very well and so fresh fish including unlimited chips. Also tried prawns tacos which was superb. I would highly recommend this two dishes. Salad was too tasty , fresh and crunchy.
Saturday evening booking, meal for two, food and service all excellent. All the staff were engaging, polite and attentive, they were the icing on the cake. A great experience, very recommended and we'll be back.
