We love the Rocket cafe, its position overlooking the sea and the pier is just so good. We only had coffee but it was good, the service friendly and fast, great decor and a lift for my elderly mother in law. Thank you Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift from both the beach and promenade levels
Just popped in for coffee. Managed to get a table on the balcony which is great if the weather's good. Fair amount of seating inside. Fab views of the east beach and pier. Toilets were clean and everything worked. Lift available for the less mobile. Coffee was fine. Staff were OK. Sand flies were a pain...but those views.... Wheelchair accessibility: Cafe is on top floor. Lift available for access to those less mobile.
Initially £15 for a small crab pictured on the platter was outrageous but actually was surprisingly filling. Staff really laid back and friendly, but the eat in area was tired and looking forward to a deep clean as there were a lot of grubby spots that didn't look great. Food presentation was lovely, but there was rust on all of the kids high chairs and many missing the latches for safe seating- none of them cleaned from previous residents. Understanding that they are in salty areas, it's more important to clean and protect things and although the service was lovely, a cleaner restaurant would be great, and a baby changing unit!
Lovely cafe serving a variety of sandwiches and drinks with lovely views of the pier and sea front. Located on the first floor with lift. Good value for money. Food came quickly. Seating inside and outside on the balcony. Toilets on ground floor, which were clean. Friendly serving staff.
Went there twice whilst on holiday in Cromer. Had lunch and breakfast. Both times the food was delicious, well presented with good sized portions. My sons shared the adult fish and chips, my eldest said it was the best fish and chips he’s ever had! It had a lovely panko crumb. I had the big salad bowl v for lunch which was fresh and tasty in a huge bowl! For breakfast my husband had the big brekkie and I had the vegan brekkie which were super tasty. The views from the window and balcony are spectacular, you can watch the sea roll in whilst eating. The decor is bright and lively with plenty to look at. There are stairs or a lift to the cafe level. Toilets on the ground floor and an accessible toilet on the same level as the cafe. Find a table and order at the till. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t fault it both times we went.
Lovely cafe' with an awesome view, delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended
Really good breakfast, would recommend the mackerel and vegan choices! Queue can get quite long, but food and coffee was served quickly. Plenty of seating, and great views of the beach
This place is amazing. Do not be fooled by the A&E looking entrance on the ground floor. As soon as I took a bite of the mackerel fish steak and poached egg on crisp brown toast, the bar for a good fish meal moved considerably higher for me. The options on the specials board were all very nice too. All washed down with freshly squeezed orange juice and a slice of heaven in their Victoria sponge cake. All overlooking the backdrop of Cromers charming sea front.
A must when we are in Cromer. Very efficient and friendly staff serving good food and drinks all with a view of the sea. Today we popped in for coffee but we plan to return for breakfast, lunch, tea and cake plus more coffee whilst here for the week. A favourite place for us.Food: 5/5
A great location with excellent coffee & service. Good views out to sea whatever the weather.
