Story

Situated 300 metres from Manchester Victoria Station, Rock Over Climbing is one of the country's largest and best indoor bouldering / climbing centres. From british team members, to local climbing enthusiasts, beginners and children, we cater for all climbers of all abilties and ages in a friendly, sociable and fun environment.

Also home to The Hub GB, Britain's first and only dedicated GB Climbing Team Training Wall https://www.rockoverclimbing.co.uk/the-hub/

We advise our customers to use our car park, opposite our building (surrounding by stone blocks), and to keep all personal belongings out of sight.

We have been here today to have some time together as a family. This is the second time my kids were here. I like this place. There is difficulty in using the wall. You can spend some time here without realising that you have really worked out. The place is very affordable. Don't forget to bring your own drink. You are allowed to.
Fantastic bouldering gym. Very large with lots of walls. Mostly worldstar comp style climbs though so can be an acquired taste. Delightful cafe attached. Some rope climbing but I wouldn't recommend. The gym area is also well stocked so good to be your main training gym.
It was a pleasant 2 hours out of 3 as always. We are not strong enough to stay for 3 hours yet! As the setting is changing, we didn't find our favourite climb, so had to find a new favourite.
Great climbing centre, mainly for bouldering but also with some top rope & auto-belay stuff. Very friendly, very welcoming. Started doing lessons here for myself and also my 4 year old daughter.
Great bouldering gym, excellent route setting and lots to climb!
Brilliant induction by Leon - lovely guy who was warm and patient followed equally by Sam. Wonderful place to go. I've now been back on my own and felt equally as invited and supported as a beginner! Recommend to anyone.
Your best option for 3X a week climbing and socializing! Rock Over made me some lifelong friends and is my home away from home
