Modern mainline station, in the shadow of Rochester castle. Clean and well kept, there was nothing to fault.nnAs long as you are not caught by any strikes, delays, or bad weather, you're going to get to where you are going.nnConnections to the city and fast trains in the opposite direction. I figure this is a train spotters delight if that's still a thing.
Interesting & very English town on South East England. I have been back many times. Spend the whole/half day or just a few hours on the train route to Dover, it is highly recommended.
Ticket office staff could not care less - both machines closed and zero urgency to fix the problem or serve customers quicker.nnOtherwise a good station.
As someone said first impression is last impression so I got that station bright, clean & shiny. Nice n helpful staff. The lady on barrier helped me with smile. Nice station for such nice town. U can have nice view as station is at high place. U can get fast n slow track trains for London n other places.
The staff here are next level weird. Repeatedly getting in the way of the barriers and intensely staring at you as you go through them. Odd behaviour that reeks of insecure small people with a little bit of authority.
