very interesting place

Well worth a visit if you're in Rochdale. Tricky to access from the town centre and poorly signed. A well run and maintained small museum. Be sure to say "hello" to Cooper Bear.

It's ok to pop in but the visit was over very quickly as there's not much to see.

An interesting visit takes about an hour,  entry free but donation possible. Easy access and lifts to upper floors. Read up on the history of the Co-op and how much of today's movement towards sustainable community based society has it's roots here in Rochdale, yes who knew

Very small but informative museum. Everyone should be aware of the history of the Co-operative and its impact. Well worth a visit.

Step back in time to the birthplace of the Cooperative movement.

Essential visit for anyone interested in the roots of the modern cooperative movement.
