So friendly and absolutely amazing. We weren't registered there but they saw us at short notice and helped our injured dog, and not only that the cost was so very reasonable which included medication I honestly thought they had got it wrong! I can't recommend them enough.
Recent experience has left me a bit disappointed. I registered my puppy in May and had our first appointment on the 17th in Montrose. The vet told us about puppy socialisation classes over in Laurencekirk which sounded great and was told a nurse from over there would be in touch.nnJune rolled around and I still hadn’t heard from anyone so on the 21st I emailed reception to find out about the classes. I had to email again today 26th as I still had no response. I received an email back stating the classes weren’t running but my message was passed along. I received no apology for the lack of communication which is a bit of a joke if I’m honest.nnThe vets and nurses have been lovely and so have the reception staff but the communication or lack of I should say regarding my situation is very disappointing, especially when we were told about these classes by the vets!nnWill have to look elsewhere for classes now and just wish we were told this at the beginning instead of waiting to hear back about classes which ultimately aren’t even going ahead.
Had an emergency with Duke, took him to Laurencekirk Vets, they were amazing! The receptionist phoned his old vet to get his records and was met with a snotty woman who would give it out without my permission, I had to call the old vets to give permission then the woman started to get snotty with me. The receptionist kept going and got them from her!nnThe vet we saw was so lovely and gentle with Duke, he explained that Duke had fully broken his dew claw and it would need to be removed and trimmed down, he would give him a wrap to stop him licking then that would be him!nDuke was treated in minutes, came out happy as Larry!nI had the same issue with my other collie at my old vet, they charged me £300, Robson's charged £77 for the same issue.nI know where I'll be staying!
We travel from Cove to Laurencekirk because the vets are wonderful with our German Shepherd. Excellent level of care, answer any questions or worries.nReception staff are so welcoming and quick to get back to us if we have a query.
Overall an excellent experience, a good discussion on the health of my labrador and a diagnoses of her health issues. Very happy with the treatment options explained and the agreed way forward to help her problem. The only downside is the very expensive medication prescribed in comparison to purchasing from an alternative supplier, the difference in price is significant £43.80 inclusive of VAT compared to £7.20, inclusive of VAT or so on-line not an uncommon complaint I believe.
