Great chippy. Staff are super friendly and welcoming every time. My favourite place to go to before and after getting on ferry to Orkney. Great selection of foods too.nnGluten free available and outdoor seating available.
Delicious chips. Great options for deep fried confectionary! Friendly staff.nThey have vegetarian burgers unfortunately not the kind I like and a special of mac and cheese.nWould be good if they could do battered halloumi or battered veggie sausages.
Yesterday we had small and large haddock suppers to take away. The fish was dry and flavourless and the batter was soggy. As chefs, we thought the fish had either been frozen or was overcooked. Some of the chips were also overcooked. Not worth the £18.50! Probably one of the worst we'd ever tasted.nHaving eaten fresh battered fish and chips in Whitby last week which was soft and delicious, and the batter sublimely crispy, this was a great disappointment!
My wife and had fish and chips and after 20 years of living in Scotland they were the best I ever had. Not being unfair but Scotland isn’t the place for fish and chips but this chippy is the exception. Well done really great food. John and Carol.Went again still really good but have to mention Jackie who served us ,really nice woman and friendly and a credit to this exceptional chippy
Fantastic wee chippy, if you are looking for freshly caught haggis this it the place to go, my daughter had the cheesy box and that was also very tasty, great friendly crazy staff. Highly recommend
