Our first stay as very new caravan owners. Lovely place and the managers were so helpful when we had a problem mid week with electric. They stayed well after hours and went above and beyond to sort for us. Friendly and clean. Highly recommend. Thank you Karen and Kev for everything.
Recently visited here with our 3 x dogs. Lovely, quiet site. Facilities were spotless and always looked and smelled great. Wardens are super friendly and helpful. Lots of dog walking nearby. Site fee dosent include electricity, you top this up with the warden, however very reasonable site fees to accommodate this. Loved the music in the toilet block and there are some great sized pitches. There's also adults only area for those who wish for extra tranquility. Convenience stores and nice pub less then 5 mins by car. Lovely site overall.
Quiet place with no atmosphere.nNot suitable for children as no chance of showering with a little one they are tiny showers and only 2 of them.nNothing to do around the site and all very over grown.nThe “drinking” water is also out of a dirty hose pipe so take your own bottled
Friendly wardens. Extremely clean and tidy site. Almost sterile! We had a lovely pitch, site is very quiet and peaceful! Unhappy about the ridiculous prices for visiting friends. We had 11 visiting and 1 dog at different times at £2 a go an expensive day especially when they only stayed 2 hours! Using our electric and tea! Not impressed. Site is clean, not enough showers 2 for each gender. Needs a waste bin at pot wash. Laundry facilities are nigh on impossible to access. Needs a shop selling the basics and wash powder so you can use the washer and dryers. The site lacks atmosphere and personality.
We stopped in the adults only part of the site and it was beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Good clean facilities. The site is small so the toilet/ shower block are close to everyone. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Very secure site so it is ideal for children to play out. There is a small play area and a netted football pitch to play on. Mains hook up is 16amps. You pay for electric separately, pay as you go. You would need a car to see any sites but there are lots of nearby attractions. Site prices are very cheap and we'll worth the money. Do not be put off by the industrial estate you have to drive through to get to the site. It's a hidden gem if you want peace and quiet.
