Yesterday ordered a delivery from Robin Hood fish bar, well what can I say .. probably one of the takeaway I've had this year. Fish was superbly cooked and plenty of chips. The kebabs were massive portions and great tasting. I'm % ordering from there from now on
Great place for takeaway. But unfortunately had no curry rolls left. Otherwise worth a visit as decent portions given.Food: 4/5
Food used to be best in the area. Since these new guys took over, the service is terrible, over priced and food quality is not what it used to be. Strongly recommend the other chip shop located across the road.
First time using the Robin Hood. Food was delicious. Best chips I've tasted for a long time. Everything cooked fresh. Friendly staff. So good we're ordering delivery tonight. Will definitely be a regular user.
Have used the Robin Hood for about 8 years, but always collected our food. Went lazy tonight and had a delivery. You guys smashed it, hot food, delivery time under what we were told. Chips awesome and the cod roe bang on. Large portions, the perfect Friday night dinner. I won't be driving down again and trying to park lol, roll on next time

Ordered directly from the shop, by phone, paid delivery person in cash, found dessert was not delivered, phoned to question this and was told oh no we don't have any baclava but we will get the deliverer to reimburse you. Two days and two phone calls later and we have still not received it. Food itself was at best just alright would not buy plaice or haddock again as too much oil in batter so if the fish had been any good to start with the cooking had spoilt it, chips were okay but have had better many times elsewhere, generally poor quality food, service and value. Still have not had refund so they have lied and stolen as well as spoiling our NATIONAL DISH. About seven hours after posting this review the person who delivered the order knocked at the door and handed five pound to my wife as a refund so we are now not financially out of pocket.
A Best choice in Barking & Dagenham, they won't complain if you want fresh food. Friendly staff, and always happy to help. No fault with anything they sell.
